View Full Version : Water Polo
nance 12-08-2003, 11:00 PM Have you ever watched a water polo game?? Especially a girl's? OMG, they are so vicious, but then again, you guys would love that, wouldn't you?
Anyways, my daughter is co-captain of her high school water polo team. They had their first game today and they lost 4-8. My daughter playes goalie and did a decent job for never having played that position before. Her arm span takes up 3/4 of the goal!!
handjobs4dollars 12-08-2003, 11:05 PM My over 300 pound dad played waterpolo it's not that great.
Fallout 12-08-2003, 11:08 PM women are a lot more violent that men then it comes to sports.
If you ever watch a female hockey game at the highschool level you will see a lot more stick work. High sticking, slashing, trippling. Men brawl, women hack
Bella 12-09-2003, 01:32 AM Women rule.
It sounds like your daughter has a massive wingspan there, MCM.
HockeyFighter 12-09-2003, 01:44 AM Goalie is the only position. As a goalie, and a great one I might add........I don't know where I was going with this. Just wanted to point out my greatness as a goalie.

LOL you could say that. Have you ever heard that if you spread your arms open wide, the measurement from tip to tip is appx the same as your height? Well, she stands at 6 ft. Her projected height is 6'1" when full grown. She's 17, but still may grow a little more. Jeans, tops, dresses and shoes (size 12) are very hard to find to fit her all because of her length. She has a 36" inseam too. Good thing I can sew!!
Bella 12-09-2003, 02:48 AM Very good thing you can sew.
I stand 5'2". I'm 21, so I doubt I'll do anymore growing. My inseam is 30" on my tall days.
It's hard to find jeans to fit my bubble butt and short legs, too. All my jeans are long, so I walk on them some. It sucks because you cannot really hem flares and that's what I like, to cover my gargantuan feet.

*applause* HF is a GREAT goalie!! lol
I told M that it is the most important position. You are the last line of defense in avoiding a point for the other team. She made some great saves too! Alot of the parents were complimenting on her to me and her daddy. She also wants to play in the game because she's gotten good with her shots too. She had a shoulder problem last year and it's been fixed. YAY!! This is her last year....*sniff*

M legs are longer than her dad's although he's still 2" taller.
Yes, it is hard to hem flares...takes the flare right out!
Daughter #2 has the bubble butt.....but she's also got the hips to go with it. What size foot?
Bella 12-09-2003, 02:55 AM I have a small bubble butt, it just sticks out. I think you know what I mean.
I think I have a boyish figure, but I'm told otherwise. I'm just not curvy, but I'm okay with that.
I wear a size 8.

It could be that you have a swayback. (your spine curves making your butt bubble) A has that and she's improving. All three of us girls see the chiropractor. It's helped the girls tremendously. It's helped me some, but I need to lose weight in order for it to help more.
Size 8 isn't that bad. I wear a 10 and so does A. M has the huge feet in the family. The biggest problem with an 8 is that they run out of that size in a huge hurry in the stores....at least they did when I took the girls shopping when they were that size.
Bella 12-09-2003, 03:02 AM Now that I've taken a look at my ass in my mirror (lol), I guess it doesn't stick out as far as I thought. I'm not complaining though. I get plenty of compliments on my buns. It's just the short legs that get on my nerves, but then again, I'm petite and that's not a bad thing.

It's ponies and you don't teach them to swim. They already seem to know how, kinda like dogs.
