okay... so i just bought an xbox 360 off a shady friend of mine for only $100, we were playing cod4 split screen and everything was working fine, i thought hey im not gonna find a better deal...
so anyways...
i bring it home, i buy gears of war 2, used... a few scratches but nothing too serious. And cod4 is nearly mint.
For some ****ed up reason, i can play these 2 games multiplayer split screen no problem... and i can also play a scratched to ****in hell halo 3 multiplayer split...
But for some crazy ****in reason all three of these games, after i get into the single player and start playing... by the time i actually beat the first couple missions i get a disc read error.
All three single player work for a little bit, then it just randomly will say disc read error after i make it to a certain part in the game...
It must not be reading a part of the disc... anything i can do??
This is a newer xbox by the way, made in 07...

Thoughts?????

call xbox and send it in, did he set up the warranty for it?

yea im pissed my fight night 3 aint working .. my fifa 08 has a piece of the disc missing and it works fight night has scratches n it dont work which is so upsetting it worked while i was on multi then it just said disc read error i cried myself to sleep...

Is it important to have a hard drive cover for xbox 360? I am planning on buying an xbox 360 on eBay and it doesnt come with a hard drive cover. I was wondering if it is important to have one? Thank you.
