I am absolutely loving boxing a the moment, and I am just wondering if someone can fill me in on the scene a bit in AUS.

Now I am not a boxer, just a fan...Mohammed Ali converted me I think, damn, I want to be like him! (I mean his attitude.....:boxing:)

I just want to be able to see some matches and also know where I can get footage of fights gone by.
So if someone can tell me:
-Where can I see live matches (I am in Sydney)
-How can I watch all of the big international fights, like what channel?? I don't have cable!
-Where can I get footage of all old fights?

You pretty much have to download all the big fights from the States and Europe the day after they happen, unless they are PPV then you can buy them (if you have cable, which you don't) or watch them at a pub/sports bar.

As far as live shows I can't help as I am in Brisbane, but there are other guys on here from Sydney who will be able to help you I'm sure.

In relation to the old fights, I either buy career sets from a couple of websites or download them from the video trading block section of this forum.

Those sites used to be good for watching all the big fights but now the streams generally either get shut down or overloaded so they are not as reliable as they once were.

I called the promoter, tix are $150. I guess he doesn't know me..thats why its so pricey?? oh well, next time I guess. If anyone has tickets just pm me.
