GlobalMMA; Ultamite Pancrase event

8 man, open-weight, MMA-Pancrase tournament in Southern California in the greater Los Angeles area on Saturday, March 27th at 6pm PST. This tournament will start and be completed within the same night... there is no comming back. This event will showcase fighters of the most comparable weights fighting eachother in the 1st matches, then proceeding to the winners, regardless of weight/ size. The last man standing.... wins.

The undercard will feature 3 bouts, 1 in the LW division, 1 in the MW division, and 1 in LHW division. The LW bout will show at the begining of the tournament along with the MW bout.... and the LHW bout will top off the night, in the ring, at the end of the tournament, totalling 8 matches!

Rules will be submited to those competing. For those who competed in the August 9th Global Fight Night, the rules are very similar with some small changes.

There are a few fighters already set on this card. However, I would rather release names when I get more of a confirmation on who is fighting who. This event is also needing a few more fighters. As you can see, weight is not an issue.

as far as the complete rules and what has changed, there are a few things. i would have to go thorugh them again. i'm not sure that there was alot of change. but there were some so there are no misunderstandings.... as there were at the last event.

i didnt realize PRIDE was that weekend. I'll have to put in the word to switch dates if possible. either way, if you are in 100%.... let me know. Its almost 4 months away..... plenty of time to train. no excuses, unless you're just plain scared.... then i could understand. most would be, i hope you're not.

You're basing that on not seeing anyone fight.

I've trained with Dave and seen him fight. His endurance is excellent and skillwise he has improved in leaps and bounds in the past 12 months alone. I have no doubt he could be an excellent fighter and keeps applying himself and listens to his trainers.

I have no idea who Carlao is. I don't even know how good you are. You should consider coming up here man I'm sure there's a few people here who would gladly match up with you (I'd consider it even just for the **** of it but like I said earlier my situation precludes the possibility at this time).

I know Carlos, I've been hit by Calos, I've been owned by Carlos.

Its true, I have never seen dave train or fight but I know Carlos and his abilities, the man has a solid chin, and ****in great BJJ/MMA sub skills.

Carlos is a force to be reckoned with trust me on this.

ontop of all that he is my boy, and I'm down with dave too, but i honestly believe Carlos would dominate.

Being that you're an amateur, shouldnt you be worrying more about getting fights wherever you can to make a name for yourself, rather than not going unless you are paid for? I see your side, just would figure there would be a priority if you are really going to be serious about being a fighter. :)

I'm not commin across the country just to fight. thats why i'm actually tryin to go. I wouldn't be goin to any amateur fight if travel wasn't payed for.

Here is the deal with Ben. Ben agreed to fight if travel cost are taken care of. This is an amateur event and he will not get paid. I will cover my own and perhaps someone else from ATT to corner Ben. He will not fight for nothing, the minimum will be travel and lodging. Not only that we should know who the opponent is and rules must be clear.

About Hovak- I'm sure he is a tough fighter and a great athlete. In a MMA fight anyone can win via KO or submission. This saturady I saw some seroius underdogs come and finish their fights vs. top contenders that are being watch by big fight promotions. Not that he is the underdog, hell I might be the underdog here he fought for your event and I have not.

Ben is just showing his confidence and loyalty to what he knows, his team, and his skills. No wrong on that, besides you all bash each other on a daily basis why not him bash you guys for a change. Go BIRDMAN!!!!!
