Japanese tabloid Tokyo Sports reported that Kimbo Slice will be making appearance at Dec 6 K-1 show in Yokohama Japan to say hi to Japanese fans, K-1 Event Producer Tanigawa confirmed. His K-1 debut match will be in March, vs. current K-1 heavyweight champ, Badr Hari.
K-1 is basically kickboxing without elbow and muay thai clinch. Good for Kimbo not have to worry about ground game.

I think thats good for him. He'll make much more money than he was making fighting for Fatty Shaw.

Hari is 6'6 and 220 lbs

Good luck, Kimbo. Coz you'll need it.

He will do fine if his opponent doesn't throw any jabs!

Shaw actually paid him a ton of money. He made $500k just for the Petruzelli fight alone.

Quick! Put him against a 5'5 205lb Korean like you did for Brock Lesnar to hype him back up!

Hari is one of k1's most dangerous guys, kimbo is so far out of his depth in this one it almost unreal.

Hari will absolutely slaughter him.

I thought he would go to K-1 but I didn't think they bring him there just to have him destroyed by Badr Hari. He has no chance of winning that fight without MMA rules.

well good for Kimbo. K-1's the only hope for the guy. don't get me wrong, i think he's gonna get mutilated but at least we can hope for a fight that lasts longer than 30 seconds of gassing provided he stays close- which he'll most likely do.

its better than Kimbo doin mma but he should have gotten into boxing instead. he's got a pretty dece set of mitts but i think the kick are gonna give him fits. boxing's the closest thing to "Kimbo rules"

Kimbo in Japan will be perfect for him. Cuz I'm sure K-1 will feed him cans and then create mega fights in Japan by pitting him against some legit fighters...then people on sherdog will say how much better Kimbo is than the UFC roster cuz he fights in Japan.

I'd love to see him against Bob Sapp

I couldn't think of a worse fight. Two fighters with virtually no skills, no stamina and a f.uckload of hype.
