WBO Jr. Welterweight champ Zab “Super” Judah (29-1, 23 KO’s) will be facing #9 ranked Jaime “Tyson” Rangel (29-4-1, 25 KO’s) out of Colombia on Don King’s huge pay per view slated for December 13 in Atlantic City. However Judah is also dead serious about making the rematch against 140 lb king Kostya Tszyu if he gets past Rangel as expected.
“I want to show people that the fight against Tszyu was simply a fluke. My goal in life is a rematch with Tszyu. We’ve tried to make the rematch but the guy doesn’t want to fight.”
Rangel is also on Judah’s mind. “I’m ready for him. Rangel is coming from Colombia to the U.S. and will try to make the best of the opportunity.” Judah expressed a desire to put on a show stopping performance. “My goal is to come in there and steal the show. I know Corey Spinks, Rachman, Hopkins and Ruiz will be on the card, but at the end of the night I want the public to say my fight was the best. ”
He also spoke of a possible clash against friend and 135 lb. champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. “I want to unify all the titles but if the other champions don’t want to make it happen and Floyd moves up in weight then I would love to fight him. A fight between Floyd and me would generate a lot of money.”
The Pay Per View billed as “Night of the Undisputed” will feature an unprecedented eight title fights on the same card with Bernard Hopkins vs. William Joppy for the middleweight crown as the main event. Among the eight title fights featured on the card will be welterweight champ Ricardo Mayorga vs Corey Spinks, heavyweights Hasim Rachman Vs John Ruiz and WBA jr middleweight champ Alex “Terra” Garcia taking on Travis Simms.
