This is irrelevant to boxers...but Sean Seark (From MMA) eats baby food...but then again he was on steroids....so not sure if that helped him get jacked.

Ask your friend whats in the baby food that makes him jacked...

Sean Sherk ate baby food, like carrots and stuff from a jar.

He's asking about baby formula like this which is meant as a substitute/supplement for breast milk.

I guess it would make sense. It's meant to provide rapidly growing babies with the nutrition they need....

I think I've heard of some strongman competitors eating baby food.

I have heard of guys using it, but more so drinking pedialite. Mainly because of what it provides for a growing child. I know a guy at my gym that trains MMA that drinks that instead of water when training.

Pedialyte is mainly used by marathon runners or wrestlers that cut weight...Pedialyte restores the lost electrolytes and water from all the weight cutting

I dont think Baby Formula helps that much..in terms of gaining weight for an adult. I think you're better off using whey with skim milk and a multi vitamin..

Pedialyte is meant for babies when they are dehydrated. It doesn't have as much sugar as Gatorade so many athletes use either as a regular alternative to Gatorade, or especially when they are severely dehydrated from cutting water weight.

Problem with Pedialyte is that it costs me $10.00 for a single bottle. Not sure if its priced that much elsewhere..but no thanks lol

besides, you can make your own isotonic beverage by using simple ingredients.

****ing big babies! This **** is high in calories so is Ok if you intend to be big and fat like a powerlifter or if you're going to burn loads of them like Phelps. For boxing it sounds like bull**** to me. The only person who probably tried it would be Fernando Vargas.

You need lots of servings to get nebeifts don't you? I heard powerlifters had 7-8 servings of it between meals. I guess how you use it matters. I wouldn't use something made for babies unless I was gonna runaway and cry like Miguel Cotto. Fake food, fake supplements and fake food is not good for you anyway. Have real food, preferrably organic and nothing unprocessed. Even for babies it is 10 times better for them to suck their mums tits.

i aint sure about how many servings you need to meet the benefits... and dont you mean nothing processed? not unprocessed :P

But anyways I agree with you... the only supplements I take, are multivitamin, Fishoil, and whey.

The rest is a just lots of protein, veggies and balanced fats/carbs.

Also, Ive tried to stay away from Sodas and all fizzy drinks for the past 2 years...water all the way

What may work for others.....may not work for you.... so I wouldn't go out my way to buy baby formula just because my friend said he gained a couple of pounds..

Lol, yeah I meant processed. I stay away from processed foods and especially **** that is fried after all that rubbish! NEVER ever eat fried foods if you are serious about gym.

Baby formula needs to be taken in big portions. Some powerlifter told me this because the 100 calorie servings you talk about are for infants! To get enough protein you need to take 7-8 servings in one go but with less milk as the babies taste is more sensitive. They grunt the excess calories off they say but carry it in their ***** tits to the arena.
