I downloaded his whole discography in 2005...

He would easily be in the top 10-15 of all-time...

The work he put in on the firm cd and all his guest appearences....Up to this point AZ's career was almost perfect. But then....

The format was the best of these 3 in my opinion, but he hasnt been able to get consistent production throughout his cd's since awol, and i believe thats hurt him some. Lyrically he still kills everything. Hes Undeniably a great lyricist and its been like that since the early/mid 90's.

I dont think i can put him ahead of cormega, even though i believe hes better lyrically. I think cormega is better all around. So im gonna change it from top 10-15 to top 10-20 for AZ. No matter how i look at it, bottom line is Az is a legend and i as a hip hop head appreciate his great contributions to rap music.

I have been listening to him since around 04/05 and if I had a top 10 he would probaly be in the top 5 of my list.

I hate doing top10's and 5's it is impossible with me. I always change my mind again after a day or two.

Lyrically he's a beast but I never really got into most of his albums. Doe Or Die and AWOL are his best in my opinion. The others have nice tracks but the albums in thier entirety aren't that great in my opinion.

Between 15 - 20. Lyrically, he's better then most in my top 20, and he has one of the freshest flows of all-time.

Do or Die is a top 10 album, and AWOL and Aziatic are classics. There's just something that keeps him low in my list though, and i can't work out what it is.

Personally numero uno. AZ is my favorite rapper by a mile.

Unbiasedly, historically, somewhere in the 15-30 range.
