12/01/03 - (PRIDE) The company announced Hidehiko Yoshdia vs. Royce Gracie as the main event for their 12/31 "Otoko Festiva.l" (Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Don Frye, Mario Sperry, Hayato "Mach" Sakurai, Vanderlei Silva, Heath Herring, and Ryan Gracie are all signed up to work the show. Dos Caras Jr. has been told to prepare for training in case to work the show. The 12/31 show will have a 6 PM start. The company also announced PRIDE 27 for 2/1/04 at Osaka Castle Hall and PRIDE Bushido (Middleweights only) on 2/15 at Yokohama Arena.

I wonder if the Yoshida match is full mma rules, either way I'm interested in the rematch. Go Yoshida.

According to inside sources, the fights is on full MMA rules, with 2 ten-minutes rounds. The camps have agreed that there will be no referee stoppage and no judges decision.

Royce is a bad man but i think he past the time where he beats some of the top competion out there. Yoshdia should me a lot in the Silvia fight and i can not see him losing to ny Gracie.

The guy really i tought was all B.S some kind of hero puppet for the Japanese, but i was proved wrong!
Yoshida in pure MMA rules if allowed would TKO Gracie out!

How? In pure MMa rules (which was no time limit WHATSOEVER), Yosh would definetly lose to Royce!!!!!!absolutely!!!!!!!

I think it's foolish to underestimate EITHER of these two. This should be a great match, IMO.

I heard that it was going to be a no ref no judges match under full mma rules. IMO, if this is true, it wil be a draw. Also, fellas concerning Fedor, he's fighting Mirko in February.
I thought he was supposed to fight Nog....
