You will have to have seen Home and Away or be Australian to fully appreciate the irony.

The guy stars in what is probably the most climactic scene in the entire Matrix series, and he has starred in one of the lamest, cheesiest soaps on this planet.

Why not...****en Hugo Weaving has played a drag queen for **** sake so why wouldn't a home and away reject be in the crappy Matrix...

Yeah but Hugo Weaving has also starred in LOTR, which is equally the largest trilogy in movie history.

This guy has just added the two best trilogies in movie history (surpassing even Star Wars) to his credits. He also comes from a serious acting background (unlike the Architect dude) and has won numerous AFI awards IIRC.
