Did he tap and go nuts to save face or did Larry really make a mistake?

From what I understand, he thought Larry was asking "Are you ok?"

Baroni would never tap out from strikes. Like him or hate him, you know he wouldn't tap to strikes

I missed the event, but from what I'm reading, I didn't miss too much.

He was so gassed. Too much muscle mass.

They should fine and suspend him for trying to hid Landless.

I can see why Baroni would be very pissed, but punching the ref three times was a little extreme IMO.

Well, at least he didn't throw a water bottle at Tanner

I am not a baroni fan but I think that the fight should be a no contest. There was only seconds left in the round.

A rematch is in order for sure but he's probably going to be sitting out for a while after what he pulled. If Zuffa doesn't do anything to him it will be an open door for other fighter to get aggressive with the refs and try to intimidate them

I agree, never hit a ref!

that call was bull****!

Baroni should have KO'd that ****.

he is a horrible ref known for early stops and other bull****

Like him or not something has to be done about Baroni trying to hit him. I know that if Phil really wanted to KO Landless he could have but still.

i was watching it and was in complete shock that landless was interupting him so ****ing much.

its was completely uncalled for!

Actually baroni hit him a couple times on the ground and went after him a couple times after that was all done with. Dana white was beat red, veins popping screamin at him about it. They had about 15 or 20 cops lined up to arrest him but larry wouldnt press charges....craziness!

i think the call was bull****. baroni was not done. gased or not. look at coleman. that ****er would stand with not anything left in his lungs to breathe, but he stood...... like a warrior. phil is the same way, whether he has a big mouth, a big ego or what have you not. eveyone does, its just he does expressingly. bad call IMO.

If it was me I would suspended him for a year. Well...actually if it was me I wouldn't let him step in the cage ever again but that's just me.

i agree, it was terrible really...i mean i can understand after it happened when he hit him right away on the ground, but 5 minutes later he went at him again and pushed him and swung again, a couple times...that's just not needed in this sport.

I am surprised Larry didn't want to press charges. Sounds like Larry knew what happend was in the heat of the moment
