Nick54 11-07-2004, 01:31 PM Yeah, that was a pretty brillant move. SalvaDominicano 11-07-2004, 02:11 PM hes pretty tall. i think harris would be able to keep him at bay. WillieW 11-07-2004, 03:01 PM hes pretty tall. i think harris would be able to keep him at bay. Good point. Phillips was able to use his height against KT, Harris should be able to also.....the difference is KT didn't train proper for the Phillips fight, he won't make that mistake with Harris....too dangerous. I would love to see this fight happen. I have respect for both guys, picking a winner would be difficult. MikeHunt 11-07-2004, 03:32 PM I don't think Kosta is too worried about Vivian Harris, he certainly doesn't pose more of a perceived threat than Mitchel does or did. Huge win for Kosta as most of the media had written him off due to inactivity, obviously none of the fights (was it six or seven?)Mitchel had in between Kosta 1 and Kosta 2 helped liked the media said it would. It's gonna take one tough sum-***** to beat Kosta.......... garretrevels 11-07-2004, 04:24 PM I don't think Kosta is too worried about Vivian Harris, he certainly doesn't pose more of a perceived threat than Mitchel does or did. I really dislike Manny Stewart, he's like the coaches version of Don King!! I like Harris as a fighter but I hope Tszyu DOESNT give him a shot!! Who the **** is Vivian Harris?? He's a mouthy, ego driven fool who could waste his boxing talent because of it, he needs to do more stand next to Tszyu to get a fan base. .::|ULTIMATE|::. 11-07-2004, 07:08 PM I really dislike Manny Stewart, he's like the coaches version of Don King!! Hehe well he did ask for a shot but KT seemed to brush him off.. looks like no shot for vivian. It's gonna take one tough sum-***** to beat Kosta.......... Your right about the fact it will take a very tough SOB to beat KT, but I disagree about Harris. Harris is the most overlooked guy in the division....for a reason. Managers and trainers consider him too much of a risk for most of the new guys in the division (Cotto) and the more experienced guys (Mayweather, Gatti) don't want to lose their position on a guy who is too much of a live underdog. Harris has to go to Germany to get fights because nobody with any credibility will give him a good fight in the States. Harris the wildcard of this division. He has the ability beat/upset anyone in the top 10. KT is a very smart fighter, he knows who is the real deal. He isn't going to overlook Harris if he keeps fighting. If Harris can get a good opponent for his next fight people will start to see why he is overlooked.....and then the fighters will take notice, if they haven't already. |
