Death row had.....The Chronic, Doggystyle, Dogg Food, Doggfather, Murder was the case, All Eyez on Me...........and.........?

Def Jam wins. Loud made a run too. Off the top of my head for Def Jam, DMX's first 3 albums, Tical and Tical 2000 (still don't know why people on hate on this album), Redman's first 4 albums...........do I even NEED to go on?

^heres the choice with a explanation

The Chronic & Doggystyle are two of the top 10 greatest hip-hop albums ever made, All Eyez On Me & 7 Day Theory are top 20 at the least, Dogg Food is underrated, or atleast not given the respect it deserves...Death Row for me

Tupac Shakur=The G.O.A.T

It saved a music industry giant interscope records from financial ruin when it started going broke and made them a powerful label again based on its connections to death row alone, Death row kept all the rap industry alive in its complete dominance in rap, if you didnt have any kind of ties to death row, you were probably a nobody

D.J Quik, Hammer, E-40, Tha Outlawz, Nate Dogg, Ice Cube, Etc. were also on Death Row for awhile but they never put out a album,

Nate Doggs and D.J Quiks albums were almost released but never did get released

We agree on something. Death Row dropped a handful of classics, but didn't last more than a few years. Def Jam dropped classics/significant albums on a regular basis

1990-LL Cool J-Mama Said Knock you out.
Public Enemy-Fear of a Black Planet

1991-Slick Rick-The Ruler's Back
Public Enemy-Apocalypse 91
3rd Bass-Derelicts of Dialect

1992-EPMD-Business Never Personal
Redman-Whut? Thee Album

1993-LL's 14 shots to the dome was, ok, i guess.

1994-Method Man-Tical
Public Enemy-Muse Sick n hour mess-age
Redman-Dare iz a darkside
Slick Rick-Behind Bars
Warren G.-Regulate....G Funk Era

1995-LL Cool J-Mr. Smith
Onyx-All we got iz us

1996-Redman-Muddy Waters
Flesh N Bone-T.H.U.G.S.

1997-EPMD-Back in Business
Jay-Z-In my lifetime 1
LL Cool J-Phenomenon
Warren G-Take a look over your shoulder

1998-Def Squad-El Nino
DMX-It's dark and hell is hot AND Flesh of my flesh
Jay-Z-Vol.2
Onyx-Shut em down
Public enemy-He got game sdtrk
Redman-Doc's da name

1999-DMX-and then there was x
EPMD-out of business
Ja Rule-Venni Vetti Vecci
Jay-Z-Vol 3

Death Row was great. Sometimes quality is better than quantity. Not to knock the other labels with classic albums. Made a big impact in a short amount of time and sold tons of records. The whole Death Row Family extends from before and after its creation.

If Pac was able to get Death Row East like he wanted to it would have been a wrap for the rap. Didn't he want to sign Wu-Tang?

No Limit didn't even have anything coming out til the 90s were almost over...and the number of QUALITY singles dropped would barely fill a single disc

I don't live on the east coast, I'm not a "east coast fan". I was up on Death Row's ****, and the fact is, they had a handful of classics, very serious classics, but not enough longevity to compare to Def Jam's steady diet of quality hip hop. What were Death Row's top 5 albums, in your opinion?

For me(my opinion),
(All Classic multi platinum Albums)
#1
Snoop Doggy Dogg'Doggystyle'
#2
Dr.Dre'Tha Chronic'
#3
2 Pac'All Eyez On Me
#4
Murder Was The Case'Snd Trk'
#5
Tha Dogg Pound'Dogg Food/Makaveli'7 Day Theory(Cant make up my mind)

Def Jams Top Album is not even #5 on my list(my opinion) Im biased West Coast, Def Jam is definately #2 as hip hops greatest 90s label

problem with def Jam , it released too much trash like the trash you mentioned in the 90s,

But you dont clear out the fact that is not understandable of how can you be outvoted 14 to 1 as death Row being top label, im biased but even non biased people voted for death row while Clearly ,and youre argument on your above quote is wrong " I said Def Jam is #2 label of 90s and Def Jams best album doesnt make it as a #5(in my opinion) in a death row list of albums if it were in death row

On you i tried to be sarcastic while sounding funny with my sarcasm, Thats why i said about unwritten rules and and Smoking with the pope, In Neils case, I did go off on him even though i like him as a poster, he knows his **** and hes given me karma for a Emiem and 2 Pac thread, i hardly disagree with Neils on hip hop , and he was correct, Jive deserves mention like he quoted as greatest rap label . Reason i didnt put Jive on the list was pop stars like Backstreet Britney and others were on Jive, a hip hop label, by the way, I hate that prick Suge Knight,
