Who wins? and why?
This fight has a very good chance of happening next year, what do you think the outcome would be. Your all going to say what a suprise :D but I would have to go Mayweather by UD.

...Yeah, I don't think his chin would hold up at all. He may be the slickest out there but sooner or later Kostya would land that right. Just like he did to Judah and to Mitchell almost anytime he wanted.

IMO Tszyu's chin is solid and could take Mayweather best shots, so Tszyu could just hunt him down. Mayweather is slick enough to avoid Tszyu but he would only pick up a couple of scoring punches per round and the judges wouldnt like that.

thats what i was thinking floyd would stink the joint out by running from tzsyu,s attacks.
but he might be slick enough to counter all night for the decision.

Yeah, Mayweather will see Gatti as a easier fight for more money.

Plus Mayweather loves that WBC belt so it would give him the perfect excuse to avoid Tsyzu.

1) Zoo does better against southpaws than orthodox. His best weapon is his right which southpaws are the most vulnerable to. He's looked real bad against orthodox fighters for the past few years.

2) There is no way in hell floyd would fight the stupid fight that mitchell did. You have to wonder what the hell mitchell was thinking fighting on the inside like that. I said to myself during the first round that mitchell fighting like an idiot. Mayweathers defense is better and he would fight a much smarter fight.

i think mayweather is a better fighter pound for pound but i think his peak was at 135. i think tszyu would win by ko in the late rounds

Mayweather would lose because he doenst have the power to keep Tszyu off him. Mayweather beat Corrales that way, using his legs and hurting Corrales. Mayweather won two close decision over Castillo who is a lightweight. Tszyu is a super lightweight with punching power. Mayweather got rocked by Corley who's not a big puncher, that makes you think what Tszyu will do to him. Also I dont think Mayweather has the legs at 140 to pull out a decision. Mayweather has to fight a perfect fight where as Tszyu doesnt. I say Tszyu KO's Mayweather late.

I think this would be a great fight between two of the best fighters in all of boxing in any weight class. Both guys have probly been boxing their whole lives so they should know how to fight. I think it would come down to who fights their fight. Can Tzyu land his big shots or can Mayweather make him miss and counter with some big shots of his own? I voted for Mayweather by UD, but I dont know. This is a tough one to call.

He can run , but he can't hide. Eventually Kosta catches up to Mayweather and Kosta brings a BIG CAN OF WHUP ASS with him.

Judah won the first round but that doesnt prove much because it was only one round.

The main difference between Judah and Mayweather is that Judah's a puncher and Mayweathers not, Tszyu doesnt have the same worries that he had in the Judah fight because he can take Mayweathers shots without any problems.

Mayweathers always going to struggle going up in weight because he has hand problems, which means he doesnt throw combo's or power shots anymore. He has to rely on his defence and speed too much.

I think Tszyu has his way with the World's elite group of Jr. Welterwights including Floyd Mayweather. But Tszyu is now in a position of being able to choose his next opponent. The biggest cash cow available might be Mayweather but Floyd has not yet gained the star power he craves for a big money fight. Untill now that is. A Kostya Tszyu vs Floyd Mayweather fight would be the biggest PPV 140 fight of all time IMO.
Tszyu would gain his biggest payday as he winds down his career and Floyd would get knocked the f u c k out much to the delight of pretty boy haters everywhere.....

I agree with this post. Zooo will eventually tag PBF with one of his precision punches...with devastating power! Yes, just like what happened to Zab Judah.

I don't know if floyd would be able to take his power. after kostya's win against a very good elusive fighter, I think he 's the only guy that can knock floyd out if floyd doesn't fight a perfect fight. kostya is too accurate of a puncher, if he caught judah and mitchell, I think he can catch mayweather

floyd will need to fight a perfect fight. kostya showed he can put just about anyone down with one punch. I never thought he would do what he did to mitchell that easily.
floyd is a good defensive fighter but I don't know if he handles that kind of power late. I think floyd would do well early, but would need to fight perfectly afterwards.

Tszyu mid to late TKO over Pretty Boy Floyd. Floyd cant handle that power.

Mayweather will choke on this fight .After he feels the power KT has he will fight like he did with Castillo on the 2nd fight hit and run like a lil biiatch but KT will time that and ko him on a late round.

KT by knockout. Tszyu is the best pressure fighter out there...has been for the last 7 years...he's always measuring his opponent & everything he does is so bloody calculated. He doesn't let other fighters fight there own fight. Did you see the panic in Mitchell's face when he got stung. Same thing will happen to Floyd, he'll be boxing well until he gets nailed, then he'll panic just the same way. That crossguard against the ropes won't help either like it did against corley. Tszyu will simply measure his shots and land bombs..that's when Floyd's game plan will go out the window. KT by KO mid-late rounds.

I would love to see it happen but that damn network **** is gonna come into play just like it is with Gatti. I think Mayweather would win Tszyu can never out box Mayweather but if these networks dont come to terms with each other we will never see these fights take place Tszyu is a showtime fighter Mayweather and Gatti are HBO.so lets see what happens so far its not gonna happen its all talk.

Mayweather is a good fighter but he can be hurt and has been caught and stunned by some punches. I wouldn't just think that because Mayweather is quicker and more elusive that Kostya wouldn't be able to land solid punches. Plus his tendencies to exchange punches in his last few figts would make this match up more exciting. I can already see Mayweather jabing and back pedaling and Kostya charging ahead looking to cut the ring off. I hope HBO and Showtime work something out cuz this would be for all the marbles at Welter. My pick would be Kostya by UD or late round TKO.

It's amazing how quickly things can turn, eh. I have been a Tszyu fan since 1992, and I even thought he may struggle against Mitchell. Now most people have him back at top 5 P4P.

It's really hard to tell who will win. But I think that Mayweather will via close decision. For sure, it's a great, great fight.
