After hes shock knockout loss to Elomar what do you think hes next step should be? a rematch? or maybe a couple of easy fights to build back hes confidence?

I would like to see how he handles hes first loss especially being a first round knockout will hurt your confidence abit, hopefully he has a good head on hes shoulders and can bounce back.

I'd like to see him get a rematch with Elomar.
Do you remember what caught the eye right away with Willie? For me it was his defence. The head movement used to be very slick, but it's been non existent the last couple of fights. They need to get him back on the horse as soon as possible. There is no need to protect his 0 anymore.

Oh and nice gif Skyler. :)

he has been doing what dibb has been doing and thats throwing then backing straight out and getting caught. He used to have good head movement, but that only gets you so far

Immediate rematch. No need for a rebuilding phase. Elomar should be nothing more than a stepping stone for Kickett. He just needs to come at the fight with the right attitude. Pay more attention the fundamentals that have served him well so far.

If he boxes smart.. uses his jab to set up the finish.. keeps the head moving and chin down he should never lose an exchange let alone a round or fight against Elomar.

A great uppercut wasnt it :P

I think what you guys are saying is exactly right, Kickett isnt boxing as much as he used too hes trying to go for the knockout and in this case he was the one who was knocked out...

I'm hoping for the rematch and if Kickett fights smartly and avoids uneeded exchanges he should be able to pick Elomar off maybe even stop him in the later rounds.

immediate rematch..makes sense commercially too for both fights...big crowd will attend also expecting a huge brawl...

everyone will win.

Yeah it would be trouble. They probably wouldnt be able to afford to pay the fighters with the amount of security they'd need.

keep away from Zappa would be a smart move

and u still think Kickett can beat Zappa?
Kicket got stopped cold by a feather fisted Elomar.
there is no way he could handle Zappas power.

That shot was flush as you like. I'm less sure, but it's just a bet. I wouldn't call Dulog a power puncher either, so who knows how it'll go down.

He is fighting on the Green undercard in Perth in April, they don't have an opponent yet, I hope his confidence isn't too shot after his loss. I think he can do good things.

If his chin holds up. You can't compete at the high level with a Glass Chin.

Green is up against Taylor? Am I right in thinking this? I haven't been paying any attention to him.

Lets keep it about Willie in this Thread. He actually has boxing ability.
