My Linux box has been nullrouted off the network.
I was DoSing a spammer off our network the other night (hey it was my birthday!) and so I let the script run overnight... a little bit longer than needed but hopefully enough to get the job done.
Turns out I set the script to run MUCH longer than expected and started fragmenting. So what happened, rather than DoS the spammer off the network I began DoSing the entire LAN.
Now nobody is bothering to ****en remove the ip nullroute and I have to call some security dude outside hours to get him to remove it. Failing that, or I do **** all work tonight until he removes it.
Pisses me off.... they could've just removed the ****ing patch cables but nooooooo.... :( It's like swatting a damn fly with a ****ing sledgehammer.
