I have to say, it was pretty fun. Like I said before I'm more of a boxing guy but the show was well presented and action packed.
The only really boring fight was Paulo Fhino vs Connen, **** was terrible, they danced around for 3 rounds it was awful. The crowd was booing and yelling out insults.
The best fight was some dude named McCullough vs "Cowboy", thats all I can remember of his name. It was a dope fight with a lot of good striking and knock downs.
Jens Pulver also fought against some Mexican kid named Garcia and was KO'd by Garcia in the first round, the kid has a boxing background and it showed.
Faber then fought Brown and was KO'd. I thought the fight was stopped a little to early but Faber wasn't defending himself properly. Big shocker for the crowd and you could tell by Browns corners reaction they were shocked as well.
Doesn't matter, every chick in the place was yelling for Faber and from what I heard he had two chicks the night before in his hotel room, super fine Miami girls so he's not that sore about it...heheh.
It was cool, there were a lot of MMA nerds there though with their affliction shirts and acting tough which was funny but other than that the beer was flowing and we had great seats in the VIP section over looking the ring perfectly.

Cool man. I really liked the first fight with that Rosholt guy. He's a damn good wrestler but needs to drastically improve his stand up game.

We were sitting in the VIP section on the second level, here's some pictures I took with my phone. They aren't to good and it looks farther than what it really was. We had a great view of the ring, best in the house IMO. We were right on top of it.

Wow! Those look like some great seats! Up high enough so that you don't have to look through the cage. How much were those tickets if you don't mind? Those are some sick seats!!!

I train fighters at alocal boxing gym and do some cornering at the casino from time to time. I get tickets from people I know there and from a friend of mine who works for the casino as a limo driver on call for any VIP's.
He's this Korean dude that hates violence and always asks me if I want the tickets to any boxing or MMA matches. So he got a hold of these and they were VIP seats, worth about $300 a piece.
We had are own ****tail watress and everything. It was cool but like I said, as a boxing guy I was a little frustrated in the strinking and don't completely understand the logic behind it, even though I know there is one. It was entertaining though.

Nice hook up.:fing02: That sounds awesome, your own waitress. MMA fighters do seem to neglect training in striking for some reason. The bottom line is that the sport is still evolving and the fighters keep getting better and better. I'm sure the stand up will improve drastically in years to come.

I didn't want to make it sound as if they didn't know how to strike just that the striking is very different.
They have a completely different stance and have to protect themselves from kicks and attacks coming from below the waist, something a boxer doesn't have to do (normally).
Glen Johnson is fighting here soon and I will attend that one as well.

There are some good strikers in MMA but that is the one area that many of them seem to focus the least on.
