I remember watching him in Spring of 2001 on ESPN2. He absolutely destroyed his opponent, and right then I made a prediciton that he would achieve great things. There seems to be an aura that surrounds the fighters who are destined for greatness, and he has enough of it to share. His performance on HBO on saturday night against Martinez was only more evidence of his successful future.

His arsenal seems limitless. He has fast hands and power, although he seems to lack confidence in his KO possibilities. Like many of the greats he's like a ghost with the way he moves in and out of striking range. He barely needs to slip or bob and weave but he possesses great skill in this area as well. I think he could easily be the next great thing in boxing, how about you guys?

He looked impressive, but like any other young prospect, we don't really know what he truly has until he gets into the ring with a dangerous and very live opponent.

Very true. I'm predicting he'll be the next big thing in boxing though. I can't wait to see him face a serious force.
