Played a bit, just got out of the vault. Pretty decent but to me it seems too much like "Oblivion with guns". Which isn't a bad thing but i don't feel like playing oblivion all over again. Hope it gets better.

MGS4 is a master piece.

Haven't played Fallout 3, but it probably nice, but rememeber... FPS. Can't compare papa. Both diffrent styles, even though Fallout 3 looks nice.

That's what I thought at first, until I realized how tactical it is.

Amazing. You can use all your surroundings as a weapon virtually.

Super Mutants don't give a ****, so in that case you have to maybe turn down the difficulty at early levels if they attack you.....unless you put tags in Big or Energy weapons. Small arms fire doesn't do **** to them unless you pick sniper perks etc and have jacked up perception.

Beating them or even surviving with limited ammo is impossible.

good graphics but I think the world is a bit too open-ended for my taste... I think I prefer Dead Space over Fallout 3. I'm playing both on computer but I think I like Dead Space more, but I do love the horror genre more so I'm a bit biased

Currently on the escaping the vault part! Ive played all the previous Fallout games so Im looking forward to finding out what the updated world and gameplay will be like once I get out of the vault.

By the way, i murdered Mr.Burke(the guy that offers to pay you to blow up the city) as soon as he made his offer. The other characters just said "good riddance" but will i regret it later on? Same for the overseer, i didn't plan on killing him but i picked a dialog option that pissed him off and he kept attacking me, so i had to kill him.

I'll try to play as a good guy, even tho i'm tempted to mess up every arrogant npc i come across. :boxing:

You have to go to Springvale.

Outside you meet a boy that says his dad was under fire from mutated ants in a nearby city graditch. you start the quest there.

I can't get over how much stuff there is to do, yeah.

Amazing how smooth the transition between quests are in this game, and just like the other fallouts you have a million options and the quest or outcome could change in like fifty ways. You don't have to go wandering around and get bored, all you have to do is keep talking to people and getting quests to stay busy, and they tie into each other somehow.

Unreal it's the best single player game of all time.

It's pretty amazing not as good as MGS4, same flaws as oblivion and lots of the animation especially in the 3rd person view was shocking. Small flaws though, it was surprisingly short as well.

I'm on the main story line right now (barely) I went off track to start right at the beginning. I killed the first enclave soldier and I went straight to the body thinking I had a suit of power armor............

lol requires training. That's just badass.

If I got a suit like that at this level (like 8 I think I am), killing would be too easy at this point.

I maxed out Endurances.

Speech = 60
Unarmed = 80
Small Arms = 75

I figure max speech and unarmed.....makes you Tyson.

I'm going to have to wait on this game for a while. I already pre-ordered Gears of War 2 and I got Fable 2 the other week.

I was watching my brother play this sci fi oblivion ****, looks like they even resused the same canned animations.

Maybe the combat differences and story will make it diffrent but even just walking around even the encounters are the same, except in instead of being attacked by starved bear its mutant hog thing. I got burned out on the oblivion sidequests, barely touched the cheesy mainquest, so I wont be going near this game for a while.

I had to give mine back today,on the 360,it just kept crashing right towards the end of the game,im just gona have to wait for Resistance 2 and Gears 2

Its an RPG, sort of like Final Fantasy but with guns and looks more realistic than dragons or other fantasy stuff like that. Basically a game where you control what you want to do, like some1 even stated above ^ theres even hookers in the games...youtube it...

My only quarrel is how much they alliterate to Dads.

If you're a cerebral and patient gamer, then it's your game.

it has an excellent combat system, but the game does not purely revolve around combat in that you don't have to kill anything to complete it.

You can be peaceful as well.

You can sort of be peaceful but you can't always avoid combat, you can be sneaky and that's about it.

I just got the quest in underworld that requires to assasinate 4 guys that are "racist" towards ghouls. Some of the moral choices you have to make are pretty deep, unlike oblivion where there is no gray zones. You can do good things in a bad way and still get away with it.

Don't go walking around everywhere once you leave Vault 11.

Hit Circle and go to the Pip boy, hit R1 and switch the tab over to "quests" and make sure your quest is activated just like in oblivion.

And check the maps.

Follow the game, using quests. Don't try and grind out XP.

You'll get bored and won't level.

Good call on this, picked it up. It's downright amazing. I enjoyed MGS4 more than I've enjoyed this, but no matter which of the 2 anyone prefers, they are both on the same level, without a doubt. That dude that wanted me to blow up Megaton got his pumpkin smashed the second he gave me that whatever the **** it was that was needed to activate the bomb.

Haven't played in a couple of days, been playing Dead space and left 4 dead.

But last time i played i was in a town where two wannabe super heroes are at war, one with an army of robots and one with an army of giant ants. That **** was hilarious.
