When the biggest mixed martial arts event of the year heads into the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on December 27th, up and comers Matt Hamill and CB Dollaway, along with a host of contenders, prospects, and newcomers, will be looking to make major statements in their bouts on the UFC 92: The Ultimate 2008 card.

Dollaway, a finalist from season seven of The Ultimate Fighter, will make his pay-per-view television debut in a middleweight bout against New Jersey’s Mike Massenzio, who submitted Drew McFedries in his first UFC bout in September.

Also on the televised portion of the card, heavyweight contender Cheick Kongo hopes to move one step closer to a world title shot if he can get by hard-hitting UFC debutant Mustapha Al-Turk.

In non-televised light heavyweight action, The Ultimate Fighter 3’s Hamill will try to rebound from a UFC 88 loss to Rich Franklin when he takes on fellow wrestling standout Reese Andy.

In other recently added preliminary bouts, middleweight contenders Yushin Okami and Dean Lister will clash in a pivotal contest;
Ryo “The Pirahna” Chonan will square off with knockout artist “Bad” Brad Blackburn in welterweight three rounder; Antoni Hardonk meets newcomer Mark Burch in a heavyweight bout; and the big boys will also be throwing bombs when Dan Evensen takes on Pat Barry.

Here is what the card looks like today on UFC.com

I think Al-Turk has a good chance of beating Kongo

looks to be one of the better cards of the year

the pair Light Heavy bouts (Evans-Forrest and Rampage-Silva)
plus the Interim title bout all seem to be match up's well made
