View Full Version : When wearing a cummerbund, should one wear a belt?
seldomTap 11-06-2003, 10:57 PM It is about time Global had a fashion section...for all those awkward moments were you aren't quite sure, come here and fire away. Me and my team of style guru's will endeavour to solve your every fashion mistake and misunderstanding...
Should your socks match your shoes or your slacks?
seldomTap 11-06-2003, 11:04 PM Your shoes should match your belt. For instance, a brown belt = brown shoes. IN this case your socks would be dark as they are meant to match your shoes. However this can be altered slightly if wearing light coloured slacks, where a lighter shade of sock can be worn. However, sports socks should never, EVER be worn with slacks and shoes.

just being you is a fashion mistake
Seldom, you must be a fellow metrosexual. Congrats on your exquisite fashion eye. BTW, your socks should match your slacks. Navy blue suit with black shoes and belt means you should be wearing navy blue socks.

Gman...this year, it is all about, what I like to call, the scruffy casual look. T shirts are fine, as long as they are not baggy like flour sacks, and jeans that give you room to move in them are highly recommended.
If you are looking for a more 'professional' image, a quality suit, Armani, Dior etc, cut to emphasise the good in your body shape, is always a winner. For you, I suggest the thinning effect of pin stripes...
DragonZero 11-06-2003, 11:24 PM thank you
handjobs4dollars 11-06-2003, 11:29 PM yep he's a gay ass metrosexual. Kill him now.

You have so much to learn. I guaran****ingtee that if you started dressing nice, women would notice. I would bet my ****ing life on it. Women care about that **** trust me, it may not get you laid, but it will put you on the right track.
handjobs4dollars 11-06-2003, 11:44 PM Yeah I could go the express for men and get some nice button up shirts and wear a beanie from the gap and some nice faded jeans.

Now you are thinking with your head Gman...you have taken the first step to a much more 'fulfilling' life
Rule 1- Never shop at the Gap. Other than that you've got the right idea.
seldomTap 11-06-2003, 11:54 PM There is hope for little Gman yet *wipes tear from cheek*
handjobs4dollars 11-06-2003, 11:57 PM No. I'm going to wear dark baggy jeans. Full contact fighter t-shirts and my tapout hat. I'm not going to carry a messager bag. I won't wear any stupid emo glasses. I'll wear my glasses when I have to drive or read off the board in school.
seldomTap 11-07-2003, 12:11 AM You are killing me here...
handjobs4dollars 11-07-2003, 12:13 AM Why should I dress like that? Give one solid reason why I should.
seldomTap 11-07-2003, 12:18 AM You don't have to do anything mate...but your whinging about no action is kind of repetitive...thought perhaps you may want to try another angle...your call though

To get yourself laid.....eventually. Trust me on this one......ladies love men who take care of their appearance.
handjobs4dollars 11-07-2003, 12:31 AM Yeah but you should know that I don' like that kind of woman that would care about what the **** I wear.
realkaps 11-07-2003, 12:40 AM Hookers dont care what you wear......

This is where men go so wrong, so often. I care what women wear, take Canada's finest export Pamela Anderson and put her in a mumu(sp) and she's no longer quite as fine.
We care, so do women. To say you don't care about appearance is pure bull****, and your clothing is an integral part of your appearance.

What about when the socks are fully hidden by your footwear and pants? I frequently wear white and red polkadot socks which are concealled by my black leather GPs quite nicely....
