applebys good, and pickering looked pretty shoddy in his last fight. This could be coming at just the right time for paul appleby, it would still be a decent scalp (former european titleholder and all), and it would set him up to do the commonwealth/european thing that we all want him to do.

He's just after winning young boxer of the year award beating Kell Brook and Nathan Cleverly.He is a good boxer.
