What does your answering machine say when it picks up? Or what is the most interesting one you've heard? Mine says:

"Hi, you've reached ***-****, we're not home right now. If you are a friend, leave your name and number and we'll get back to you. If you are a telemarketer, go away and remove our name from your list. Have a nice day."

This was before the Do Not Call list became effective. It has been peacefull since then....so I need a new answering machine message......what have you got???:lol1:

Good song. Mine is a recording of a lady, I dont ever call myself, so I dont know how it sounds. I dont listen to other peoples machines either, I get pissed off whenever the phone rings more than 3 times......

My answering used to say..........

hi, you've reached the Jackson Insane Asylum, we can't come to the phone right now, we are busy doing something really important.

I like it up & down & he likes it side to side........

but anyway, when we finish brushing our teeth we will get right back to you,
