I'm aware that a good many people on these boards are quite skilled martial artists. Since I'm working on a thesis for unarmed combat (undergrad thesis) I was wondering if any of the members would like to be interviewed for the project. I would greatly appreciate the help.

what are the interviews supposed to be about exactly? training? fighting? just overall skill on different martial arts?

elaborate.

Okay, here's the breakdown.

I'm basically doing my piece on the combination of arts that work for me, since there's really no other way to do this. By combining four arts, you end up covering the weakpoints of the others.

For example:
TaeKwonDo has kicks, but nothing else.
Boxing has handwork, nothing else.
Muay Thai has some kicks, coupled with inner-range fighting
Brazilian Jiujitsu has mat grappling.

(Note: all aspects mentioned above are both offensive and defensive, such as BJJ is the ability to tackle and defend against being taken down.)

So, the interviews would largely consist of your background and experience and how different fighting styles (not just these) can cover up the flaws in other styles.
