Tyson was catching Sherk with the more cleaner punches ! Most of sherks punches Tyson blocked on his arms etc This sort of BS decision is what spoils MMA for me ! So even if Tyson was doing great at striking, he was consistantly getting beat by the takedowns of Sherk the 1st and 2nd rounds. We got different math is all. No prob. I do agree that the guy who gave Sherk a 30 was ****ing nuts. MetalVomit 10-26-2008, 10:14 AM I thought Sherk beat Griffin in a close fight, no controversy. Anderson Silva is amazing, and even if Cote hadn't gotten hurt, he still was not going to win. jakkups 10-26-2008, 10:55 AM The judges count takedowns as well. So even if Tyson was doing great at striking, he was consistantly getting beat by the takedowns of Sherk the 1st and 2nd rounds. Also they score advancement of position after a successful takedown which Sherk did twice when he got Tysons back. Sherk won fair and square IMO, more active in all aspects, never once took a back foot, always answered everything that Griffin threw. Won it 2-1 IMO. Spare Moody 10-26-2008, 01:12 PM i agree that Sherk won fair and square. he was clearly the aggressor throughout the entire fight. Tyson gave him a great fight though.
