on Saturday in Iowa, beat Kerry Schall
in Davenport,Iowa on Tuesday 6:56
fight then beat Christophe Midoux that
Friday in Montreal 8:51 fight.
Also fought on Friday in Iowa,fought
Saturday in Iowa & beat Sam Adkins in
58 seconds, then jumped in a car and
drove 16 hours to Atlanta and fought
Courntey Turner and beat him in 1:16
Fought Vladimir Matyushenko in a 15
minute fight in Montreal, flew out of
Montreal at 5:30 AM the next morning &
fought again in Iowa that night & won.
Drove 4 hours and fought in Omaha,
Nebraska,got extremly drunk that night
& left at 4:00 AM & drove 16 hours to
Salt Lake City, Utah and fought
Tsuyoshi Kohsaka that night and
lost a 15 minute decision with
a mean hangover.
Won an 8 man tournament in Brazil
got out of the ring after my last fight
and grabbed my stuff and drove 9 hours
in a taxi to the airport and flew for
10 hours to Salt Lake City & arrived at
5 PM and fought that night & beat the
infamous Tae Kwon Do kid.
Won a fight on Friday & stayed in town
and went to an all night strip club &
drank all night and left at 11 AM and
drove 2 hours to fight Tommy Graham for
the HooknShoot title.I beat him with a
massive hangover.
Many more similar stories,but I dont
want to make myself look too
unprofessional.I did all of this in
my younger days.

One of the funniest fights in mma
history...
The choke slam was the guy who I fought
after fighting in Brazil.I was supposed
to be in a 200 and under tournament,
My knee was messed up and I weighed in
at 202.A guy on the other side of the
bracket named David Davis *****ed
up a storm about me being overweight.
So they threw Dennis Reed in the
tournament and I fought the Tae Kwon Do
kid.I was trying to be nice.
Notice I hit him with an open palm.
I didnt want to bore the crowd so I
decided to slam him.Unfortunately for
him he held onto the head lock and
made everything worse.I broke one of
the vertebrae in his back but he made
a full recovery.
[Pain]Ever fight injured?
I fought the entire year of 2000 with
a severely broken hand.I shattered my
3rd medicarpel.An injury which
required surgery which I never got.
Terrible fighting with your greatest
weapon ****ed at your side useless.
[pain]Who's your greatest rivalry?
Id consider Ian Freeman to be my
greatest rival.With all the controversy
surrounding our first fight.On paper Im
sure Jeremy Horn looks to be my greatest
rival with 2 NHB draws, a grappling draw
& a third NHB match in which I dominated
most of the first round & gassed in the
second because I hadnt been to the gym
in the past 5 months leading up to the
fight.
[pain]Greatest MMA moment?
Either walking to the cage my first time
fighting in the UFC,winning my 1st UFC
fight at UFC 21, or when I KOed Dennis
Reed in Extreme Challenge 7.A match that
I was expected to lose.It may sound hard
to believe,but when I first started
fighting I was a joke to the Miletich
& Omaha fighters.They all wanted to fight
me because I didnt know submission.
This was the first time I think I was
taken serious by any of them.
[Pain]Favorite fighter?
I respect Dan Severn more than any other
fighter I suppose.He has more accomplishments
than any fighter could ever dream of having.
The only problem with MMA is for some reason
we are only held in high regard over our most
recent performance,not our past performances.
[pain]Great victories?
Its hard to consider who my greatest
victory would be.
I beat guys like Heath Herring and Cabbage,
but I beat them before they were well known
so it takes away from the luster of having
beaten them.
When I fought Heath Herring he came up to me
and said he'd like a rematch, but first he was
going to fight and beat Frank Shamrock.
I have fought so many great fighters its
hard to go through them all.I guess Id have
to go with the guys that everybody knows:

Myself as a person I really dont know
what to say.Believe it or not Im not
loved in my hometown.People have been
hearing my name for so long and always
hearing this and that so they decide to
add their own versions to stories.I have
had my ass kicked in about 50 different
street fights, I've raped over 30
women, and I haven't fought outside of my
hometown for a long time because I got my
ass kicked so bad the last time I did.
In reality I dont talk about fighting
with anyone around here,but the unfortunate
thing is that is all anybody talks to me
about.Its all Im associated with.I dont
talk about my own fighting career.Most
common question Im asked is "Are you
still fighting?"My usual answer is "yes."
I dont tell people that I have more fights
than any other MMA fighter in the
world because it sounds like a lie.
Yeah like some podunk guy from Cedar
Falls, Iowa has more fights than
ANYBODY.

He didnt train, he didnt take it serious,
& now I sit in my own purgatory.I have 2
choices.Be the fighter I was meant to be
or just continue to slip down the slope

coming fighters.I know I will always be
tough.You cant teach somebody how to
fight,they're born with it,but I dont
want to wake up 40 years old and realize
what I could have been.

My main hope for the future is to train
and get back in the game.Im 26 and I feel
like Im an aging fighter nearing 45
who needs to think about retiring
instead of winning a world title.
Basically I want to raise my daughter,
train and try to get back to the top again,

being, and have the idiot trash talkers
in my hometown recognize.Im not interested
in leaving a legacy behind,all I want is to
accomplish what I was meant to accomplish.
