No, it hasn't arrived here ...but I'm not sure if I would like it...i've seen some vids and the sound track looks like the typical horror film music: a lot of violins and cellos....and the atmosphere....mmmmm...
Well, anyway, I'll go to see it, no doubt!!....

Curly, the TCM is bassed on Ed Gein crimes but the TCM isn't a real event...

I'm just saying what I heard. I didn't know if it was real or not.

tcm is horrible. i haven't seen the old ones so i can't comment on those, i'm sure they suck too, but the new one is trash. i'm glad i didn't pay to get into that thing.

Of course it happened. There are two movies based on the same real-life event - "Psycho" and TCM, but "Psycho" gets all the publicity.
Actually, TCM is a whole lot closer to the true story of Edward Gein, a handyman in Plainfield, Wis., who liked to dig up fresh graves, cut the skin off corpses, wear it on various parts of his own body and dance in the moonlight.

When the guys in white suits finally got him in 1957, they said he'd been collecting body parts for years - had skulls on the bedposts, a human heart in a saucepan and a lady out in his barn dressed like a deer.

Eddie died in the Central State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, where he was making rock jewelry.

while there is reference and basis upon ed gein, there is no such real event as the texas chainsaw massacre, nor any event occured or can be found in factual history that resembles what the movie depicts. Ed Gein was reality, things he did were reality, but the facts are the facts, there was no such event.
