THe fires are finally under control. The big Cedar fire is now 81% contained. We are finding out that the fire could possibly been put out the night it started. A huge controversy now. It's so so sad. Daugher #2 heard from her friend that lives in the Paradise area and she is ok. Her house was saved, but she said it looks like a war zone. Everything is charred. So far we know of no one directly that was affected by the fires, but we haven't heard from all of our friends yet and the phones and stuff are out....so.....we wait.

Here's to all the fires being put out soon and kudos to all that fought them and those who volunteered their time to help those who lost their homes. God Bless all those who helped in whatever small or large way that the gave.

We sent a couple trucks from out fire department, glad that **** is almost out. Even though I think fire tornados look ****ing awesome.....

Yeah, it is one of those beautiful things of nature. It's just very destructive. Kudos to your fire dept. for sending the trucks. They had 4,275 firefighters just on the one big fire. That's a lot of firefightes.

oh well fires are ok ... they are bound to happen and have happened since the day dot.

its just our population is encrouching on alot of the land now,... so that ****s bound to happen now and again.
