Other asian cinema thats not really kung fu, but are very good; anything with Chow Yun Phat. The Killer, a Better tomorrow, these are excellent movies. I like Jackie Chans old stuff. Like Drunken Master, The Fearless Hyena, Super Cop.

Shamz ONG BAK is a great action movie, its not kung-fu its Muay Thai, and I think what you see is real action, for the fans of martial arts movies this one is a movie to watch....

My favorite kung fu flicks that I can think of right now….
Bruce Lee – Game of Death
Jackie Chan – Snake in Eagles Shadow
Jet Lee – Shaolin Temple
Chow Yun Fat – Crouching Tiger

My favorite other martial arts movies:
Chuck Norris – Power of One
No Retreat No Surrender (Van Dam was the bad guy)
Karate Kid Series
Ong-Bak (Muay Thai Movie), if you are a martial arts movie buff, you should not miss this one

Huh?? Bruce Lee never made a kungfu movie. I think.

Best Kung-fu movies are Drunken Master and Snake in the Eagle's Shadow..(well depending on who dubbed it) both by Jackie Chan

Hey FatShams...I'm interested in trading ONG BAK with you. Is it on DVD?? (subtitled ??)
I'll try to PM you.

I just saw Jacky Chan's latest "Police Story" movie which was filmed in HongKong. It's mix-up martial arts, not just kung fu, but it's the best in the series with plenty of drama and action, and of course with a lot of JC's trademark humor.

Prodigal Son by Taiwan's Meng Fei was also good. :)

Fearless was not only one of the best Kung Fu movies I've ever seen.....but I say it's easily one of the best movies I've seen in the past 10 years.

Jet Li as actually a hell of an actor in Chinese.

*Snickers at Bruce Lee's overratedness*

Nobody on Earth can do Tai Chi like Jet Li can. The video proves that.

Fearless was ****in crap.

"Fate made him a warrior, courage made him a hero"

Uh.cheesy.

7 Grandmasters (1978)

AKA: Seven Grandmasters

Premise: On the eve of retiring as reigning kung fu grandmaster, Shang Kuan-cheng (Jack Lung) receives an anonymous challenge and sets out on a long journey to fight seven other top grandmasters to prove his skill. Along the way he picks up a tenacious student (Lee I-min) and faces an old rival.

thats where its at.
