Kurt is a though dude. However he better be very carefull opening his mouth like that about Marcos Aurelio.

He better be reminded that that was the first time that Marcos Aurelio did a no gi tournament. I know is hard to get a felling about the emotions over the net, but it sounded a bit ****y.

I hope he wins this match and faces Marcos Aurelio for the title, I'm sure it will be a very action pack fight. By the way MA vs. Pellegrino might happen sooner than he wants. :devil

I train 7 days a week. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays I train with Ricardo Almeida and my teammates at his gym in central New Jersey. On Fridays I go up to Renzo's academy in NYC to train with the great guys up there. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays I train at my academy on the Jersey Shore in Toms River

"Marcos is a very talented black belt" dosent sound ****y to me.
Plus I did the interview so I know it wasnt. To you im sure it "sounded ****y" we know where your affiliations lie. ;)

i have to say Pellegrino is one tough fighter. i don't think his interview sounded ****y at all!! i know personally that he is just excited to fight Marcos and he has much respect for him! the sooner the better for MA vs KP, and it sounds like Pellegrino can fight him on the drop of a dime with that training schedule!
.......by the way "Carlao", did you know that the FIRST time Pellegrino did a Gi tournament was at the Pan Ams and he won the gold medal without a single point scored on him?!?!

wow that speaks volumes about him to win the Pan with out a single point score on him.

I can not wait to see a fight of some of the best 155lbs in the US. However Kurt is going to have to wait after MA fights in Japan on Nov 23.

yes....i think we're in for some good fights at 155, i too am anxious to see them! i really think pelligrino is an up and coming fighter, although only a purple belt under Renzo Gracie and Ricardo Almeida i'm sure he's training for that black belt! time will tell....good luck to Marcos in japan!

I mean no disrespect to MA or any of the fighters I mentioned in the interview. I feel to be the best you have to face the best, fighting anyone of those fighters would be a great honor. I, like most fighters, am confident in my abilities and I go out there to win! Sometimes this confidence comes off as ****y but its not meant that way.

I dont read internet forums, newspapers, mags ect concerning me and fighting, I dont believe in it. When it was passed on to me that I meant disrespect I jus wanted to let everyone know that is not the case.

I'm writing this for Marcos Aurelio.

Marcos wants to congratulate Kurt on his resent win and looks foward to defend his title against a great athlete like Kurt. However he has a task in fron of him fighting at the ZST 16 man tournament in Japan.
