Alright after last night, i had to watch Leben vs bisping twice to make a real decision on who i thought won... Me being bias and cheering for chris leben the 1st time around i felt upset with the decision, not to mention i was doing some heavy drinking, and really wanted to see him get the victory lol.
But after the 2nd time i realized it was a very fair decision, and "The Count" was without a doubt getting the better of the exchanges for the first two rounds, and the 3rd round was a toss up. But good fight none the less.

Now my question to you, after last night, who would you rather see fight again out of the two, and why.

yeah, agreed.

bisping never goes in for the ko or submission unless he is absolutley sure he will win. example, the mc carthy fight. it seems to me like bisping just wants to get the decision most of the time. he even said it himself last night.

i would much rather see leben fight any day. he always goes for the finish even at the risk of being ko'ed. this isnt always the most intellegent way to fight but it is much more entertaining than watching bisping dance around and avoiding the fight.

i wonder who bispings next opponent will be???
i would like to see him fight someone who wont let him be a counter puncher.
i think hendo bisping would be a good matchup. i see hendo winning by tko.

Out of Bisping's 17 wins he has 15 stoppages (11 T(KO) and 4 Submissions), so I don't see how he goes for the decision win most of the time when only 3 of his fights ever went the distance. Plus last night he played it smart and put on boxing 101 plain and simple, box the brawler, use your range and throw straight punches and constantly move out of the brawlers range.

Anyhow, I personally would love to see both of them fight because I appreciate both fighters approach to fighting. Leben's brawler style is always gonna make for exciting fights so long as he can coax guys into fighting his fight. But essentially he is a novelty act and will never really rise to the occasion and be one of the top dogs because his vulnerabilities as a fighter will be and have been exposed by guys who are smart enough to keep moving and let him come to them. Bisping's technical approach coupled with a solid gameplan is a great way of showing people who nothing about MMA that it is a sport and that these so called "glorified street fights" do have technique and skill involved, which I also appreciate. So for me, it's a tie.

i was refering to his recent appearences in the octagon....it just seems like he plays it safe.

im not taking anything away from his performance, he played it smart...its just that doesnt always make for an exciting fight. in fact, he said in the interview he wanted a ud. so yeah he executed his gameplan perfectly. though, he's not gaining any mma fans when he openly admits to going for a decision win

He knew he had to play it safe against Leben. Leban looked awesome and has that big punch, Bisping did what he had to and won the fight very convincingly. I had him 3-0 up but could have left the last round to Leben.

I enjoy watching both fighters. Leben can cause a shock with his agression and attitude but Bisping will be up fighting better opponents in the future.

MMA is starting to get some of the problems boxing has. Playing it safe. Fighters are more than willing just to get a decision and guess what, decision wins are more common than ever now.
Im not in any way saying anything bad about smart fighters and thier gameplans, just the way it is. Action gets the money.

So needless to say Leben gets my vote.

Count.

Bisping shows vulnerability even when dominating his opponent (Sinosic, Pointon, Epstein, Rothaemal), in turn his any upcoming fights of his have can turn into dramatic affairs, I like that.

And of course, because I’m a big fan of his and i can see him competing well against Elites, don't see Chris doing the same thing.

Leben, exciting fighter an Bisping has just been on my nerves since i saw him crying on tuf about how hamill was being bread by tito 2 b the champ an beat everyone in the house, an a year later hamill kicked his ass for 3 rounds an won regardless of what em judges said.

I don't see Bisping to be much of a threat to guys who are at the top of the division....Silva , Franklin, Hendo, Cote,Yushin Okomi etc....hell, I think he would be in a ****load of trouble if he were facing guys like ....Marquardt or Palhares....just my opinon...ohh yea, and I still think they screwed Matt Hamill over when he fought Bisping....lol
