I don't mean which fighter do you idolise and secretly wank over. But which fighter do you try to copy and base some, if not all of your fighting style (offence, defence, footwork, tactics, ring generalship) on. I would say I have my own style around a ring but have tried to model alot of my techniques on the all time great (and mechanically/technically sound) B-Hop. :boxing:

I dont really base my style on any famous fighter, mainly base mine off my trainers because thats the style we are taught.

We learn basic **** but at home I try to copy Frazier simply 'cause it ''feels'' good and quite fast.

i don't necessarily copy one fighters style but if i see a move like floyds pull counter against ndou i try to incorporate it into my bag of tools, whether it be offense or defense.

Im currently getting a liking for tyson's peek-a-bo, its hard to hit ya, even if they do you got a really strong defense and you can throw quick and powerful hooks, but yah, still trying

Ring Generalship goes to Floyd, Defense Winky, counterpunching B Hop.

A few people said their trainers, which is a good answer. My trainer has been banging on about B-Hop's technique for about ten years now, so I am doing both! His posture, stance, footwork, guard and ring generalship are spot on.

I don't try to emulate anybody's style. I just do what works and feels right for me. But if i were to compare the way i train and fight to a fighter i would have to say Chad Dawson; Southpaw, fast, works in combinations. But most of all i would say it's because his best punches are the same as mine, Jab, Right Hook, Straight left. These are the ones i use the most and rely on all the time.

Canadians cant fight

Indeed, and we all work as lumberjacks and eat donuts all the time. Don't forget the maple syrup. Lotsa beavers too.

Seriously, i couldn't give less of a **** about what you think about canada. It's not like i rock a canadian flag and watch hockey with a tear to my eye when they play the canadian anthem. I don't even consider myself canadian, i'm a quebecer/french canadian, or a "frog" if you want to try to sound condecending.

So yeah, go ahead and bring your french berret and and snail eating jokes, ****tard.
