LOS ANGELES, California - Due to the nature of the upcoming PRIDE FC event, tournament matches will be shortened from the traditional three rounds to two for FINAL CONFLICT, scheduled for November 9th, 2003 from the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
FINAL CONFLICT
Round Format
Semi-Final, Final, and Reserve Matches
Round 1
10 minutes
Round 2
5 minutes
(2 minute interval between rounds)
This adjusted round format is only for bouts related to the tournament. All other matches on the fight card will be held in the traditional 10-5-5 format.

Seriously kaps, can you quit it with this conspiracy theory you got going......you post about it every other post....it gets annoying after awhile......we know Pride doesn't want Chuck to win, whether he gets cheated or not, we will soon find out.......and quit fighter bashing Silva....It's also getting annoying.....we know you hate him, let it go......that is all....thank you

This is really pissing me off. I thought Jackson would win because he's a stronger fighter on the ground. I thought Silva would win the GP because he's the better fighter but how are we supposed to know who the better guy is if they keep fixing the damn rules. First it was the so called number draw where Yoshida just happened to get the first pick and now this. I want Silva to win but not like this. I like Chuck more than Jackson but I picked Jackson cause I thought he was the better fighter in the ring. I figured Chuck couldn't beat him on the ground and his take down defense wouldn't be as good in the ring as in the cage. I guess all that really doesn't matter if they're going to rig the damn thing all the way.
