It'll happen again hockey ****ey, and you'll get raked over the coals again, again and again. Each time though, it hurts less and less until you feel nothing at all. I hope that helps.

I have thought I have been in love 5 times now...but on closer inspection it has just been that I liked them a lot.

I think my definition of 'love' is ever evolving. For instance, my current girl and me have been together 4 long, tiresome years. 2 years ago I was certain I loved her blah blah blah, we had just gotten back together after a 3 month split and things were going really well.
Now, she can't walk in the same room as me without my skin starting o crawl and I pull a face like I just smelt someone elses fart.

I am sure I will meet someone else and go throuhg the same tearful process.

Love sucks people, don't fall into the trap of 'looking for MR/Ms Right...they don't exist. there is only the one for now, not 'The One'...

Neo is The One

No that does not help a single bit. In fact it is even more depressing. If you truely love someone it should always hurt went you have to split up. Not feeling pain, to me, would mean that the love was not real.

Naw, think of it more like scar tissue, and love is a razor blade. Friendly, wonderful scar tissue that acts as a defense mechanism young mang. I think you'll find that there is a lot of qualities to love in many people, while at the same time no one is 100% great, only parts of them are.

Kato, my love! Hello!

There were a couple of times I thought I was in love, but when I look back on it, I'm not so sure. Maybe I'm just bitter.
However, I met someone recently who's extremely cool to hang out with.. and he digs me.. so we'll see how that goes.

Kato

Hey Bella darling...nice doo... I like it

I think we all get infatuated and it feels like love and maybe it is, its when we set our expectations and we get let down by our own image of what a relationship should be that the awwww feeling fades and we feel that we are no longer in love...

I think its inevitable to loose that feeling though so to think it will always be present in marriage is definetly fiction

Bella

Thanks, Kato.

And I know what you're saying. Makes me never want to marry.... lol. Is that bad?

Kato
10-29-2003, 11:30 PM
no...its wise, listen...when we are growing up its hard to live with our parents and siblings and hell they have been with us all of our lives...now imagine having to live with someone that shares a whole different way of thinking...

Bella

I can say for sure that I have been in Love 3 times. It's great. I wouldn't take back anything I've done, or to not experience the things that I have.

Marriage is wonderful, hard at times, and there are some times you just feel like killing each other, but I still wouldn't want to be without him. It's great to have someone you can trust, and count on no matter what. It does take a lot of effort to keep the fire going, but you just put another log on, and it flares up again.

I have been in love once. I will never leave myself that vulnerable again.

After being friends for many years we began talking alot more on the net and on the phone. I'd say it took a month of serious talking and thinking about her before I realized I loved her. But it probably would have been alot different if we were never freinds for so long before.
