The town of Julian with MOM's apple pies and other variations may be gone by morning. The shops, the fresh air, the trees...all of it could be gone. Right now the firefighters have surrounded the town and are planning on fighting to save it. As my daughter put it, it's a town for all of us in San Diego.....we love going there to escape the city. And to get pie! The town of Cuyamaca is 90% destroyed. A whole community, burned to the ground. How unfair is life??

Thanks......I'm hoping that the firefighters are successful. We do have lesser winds and higher humidity is moving their way. It's 100% in San Diego......68% where we are....they said it is headed towards Julian and that should help aid the fight.

PS.....My daughter has those pics of you and J in her camera. We are still trying to learn how to d/l them into the computer....lol. She just got it for her bday last month.....you look awesome in that outfit!

The pic's you took came out really good. Well, the ones I've seen. :-) I can't wait to see the rest of them. It will be the only pic I have of me in costume, well for now. I plan on get'n dressed up again for halloween. Plus I always love having more pic's of Jake and myself anyway. :-) It was cool that you all made it down and I hope to see you guys again soon. Thanks, I love taking pictures. To me, the best ones are always the candid shots and I do a better job of those with my 35 mm. But it's easier and faster to use the digital. Do you want me to post those pics of you on this site? Or should I email them to you?

The kids and I were glad we could make it up there too. We had fun......at least I did!:)

Oh, and you're welcome for the gift....I did get the date correct, didn't I?
