As we reported last week, MMAWeekly.com has learned that heavyweight Kazuyuki Fujita continues to train at Marco Ruas's gym in southern California for a future event. It's believed Fujita is training for a fight in November.

Also DSE has been clearing up some rumors about the upcoming Pride card as Mr Kawasaki said yesterday that quote "There are several rumors floating around, that are simply not possible, though DSE has several more matches yet to announce. The rumored Rogerio 'Minotoro' Nogueira versus Alexander Emelianenko is speculation only, as there is no time for the Russian fighter to obtain the proper visas at this time.

Another rumor has Ryan Gracie as a stand by alternate. Ryan is not in negotiations at this time, and will nor be at the event. Despite name value, Kiyoshi Tamura is not being considered for this PRIDE, and Josh Barnett is in the midst of a pro wrestling tour and unavailable as well."

MMAWeekly broke the story about Barnett yesterday so this co-insides with our report yesterday about Josh. DSE also told MMAWeekly that the Heath Herring vs Dan Bobish fight is still at the "rumor" stage and that fight has not been confirmed either.
