GxBrak 11-05-2004, 03:25 PM it certainly can, look at gerald mcllelan or jimmy ellis The1God 11-05-2004, 03:28 PM Or Jim Lampley, even though he hasn't taken any shots, he is brain damaged. Look at Evander, Once upon a time you could understand him, now he sounds like he has a bucket of water in his mouth. Plenty of fighters have suffered the "Punch Drunk" syndrome. DR. FREECLOUD 11-05-2004, 03:39 PM if you don't think that it can you are crazy. this should be a no brainer! no pun intended. scap 11-05-2004, 04:01 PM if you don't think that it can you are crazy. this should be a no brainer! no pun intended. I think you have been had, he is either ****ing with everyone or he is really Gary The Retard from Howard Stern. TheFairPole 11-05-2004, 04:21 PM What about it causing alzheimers??? I know of a few former boxers here in Minnesota who have died from it. Dr.Depravity 11-05-2004, 05:40 PM yep, taking too many to the noodle can give your drain bamage.By the way The1god's avatar is creeping me out. :( Neuraxis 11-05-2004, 05:50 PM http://www.ebaumsworld.com/forumfun/spam1.jpg scap 11-05-2004, 05:55 PM yep, taking too many to the noodle can give your drain bamage.By the way The1god's avatar is creeping me out. :( Does it creep you out anymore to know that the avatar is actually him, at first I thought it was the little neighbor kid across my street and I was going to hunt down that sicko and kick his ass but then I got some info from a reliable/trusted source that said the avatar is the1god himself, I have calmed down since. I have heard rumors that taking punches to the head can be bad for the brain. Are you for real? Actually, I heard a rumor that too many kicks in the nuts can render you sterile. I don't know if that is true...but it probably hurts like hell! Same for too many hits in the head? tonytucker 11-05-2004, 09:33 PM I think you have been had, he is either ****ing with everyone or he is really Gary The Retard from Howard Stern. So what are you saying?Does boxing cause brain damage or not? leff 11-06-2004, 06:05 AM If your fightingstyle and skills are that your a human punching bag yes it will hurt your head. That being said, average too become kronical punch drunk is being shaken 3 times a week for 5 years ore soo. I wouldent wory if your in the amatures. Since many fighters dont seem very bright its important to becoming stupid from boxing and boxers who were stuoid when they started. For example tyson doesent seem very bright but he never did. A thread like this makes one wonder if this REALLY IS Tony Tucker... hexman 11-06-2004, 02:46 PM have you heard gatti talk lately, he sound like hes going through the early stages on brain damage GxBrak 11-06-2004, 05:27 PM what's with the tony tucker screen name, he's most famous for losing to other well-known fighters GasPed 11-06-2004, 05:47 PM A thread like this makes one wonder if this REALLY IS Tony Tucker... Italian250 11-07-2004, 08:36 AM Yeah, glad to see your off the coke and on the Net, TT brutha, but it looks like you got some lingering issues... Hi Tony Tucker. Why do dickheads like you use 2 screennames? AJ53 11-07-2004, 08:56 AM ask joe mesi or phillip ndou or riddick bowe if boxing causes brain damage. im sure it's not just coincidence that they failed brainscans and just happened to be boxers. it is possible some people are more in danger of brain damage than others. some of the old fighters had 200+ fights and lived healthily into there 90s. wissy 11-07-2004, 09:56 AM Gettin hit to the head repetitively is never a good thing. That is obvious. BoxingPromoter 11-07-2004, 12:13 PM Of course boxing can give you brain damage. it is just like getting into a car accident or falling and hitting your head on something hard. Prolonged blows to the head exasperated the Parkinson's desease in Muhammad Ali that's why he can barely talk anymore. tonytucker 11-07-2004, 03:43 PM Hi Tony Tucker. Why do dickheads like you use 2 screennames? Hello Italy250, I see you have changed your avitar to womans breasts so you can try to trick the people into thinking you have stopped your homosexual practices. It hasn't worked though, your posts still reek of incredible gayness. There are plenty of negatives though.... I cannot believe someone would ask this question seriously. I'll assume this was tongue-in-cheek. tonytucker 11-09-2004, 03:18 AM Mr Tucker, check out the responses on your well-thoughtout thread here. You see babies dont come out of back hole they come out of front hole. I shouldn't be to hard on you though for getting this wrong. I mean what with you being a homosexual, I suppose you probably don't know anything about the womans anatomy. Later homo, oh sorry, I mean Later homes. |
