View Full Version : Does anyone actually get along with their family?
Crystalline Dream 10-25-2003, 10:12 PM Everytime I go to visit with my whole family, anything in the world would be less painful.... I can take my family on one on one, like siblings and their spouses, mom and dad, but when they all get together and everyone starts arguing and fighting, I feel like drilling a hole through my head with a rusty dull knife.
Anyone else feel this way, or do you guys get along with your family? Discuss.
The Jake 10-25-2003, 10:15 PM Yes. I love my family. Got no problems with them at all. My sister bugs me a lot sometimes but that's to be expected I guess.

HockeyFighter 10-25-2003, 10:18 PM I don't really like my parents. I don't hate them, I would just rather avoid talking to them at all times. I have somewhat developed a relationship with my sister in which we can actually talk without killing each other now.
Crystalline Dream 10-25-2003, 10:20 PM Everytime I see the people my siblings married, I want to slowly peel their skin off with a potato knife. Seriously, everytime I see them, I dont think they could get stupider and more ****ing retarded, but somehow, they manage.
Maybe this is why I only see them like twice a year.
The Jake 10-25-2003, 10:22 PM On my mum's side of the family I feel the same way about them. Last year I didn't even see them for Christmas with Arju. That is pretty much the biggest slap in the face I can possible give them really. I think they know it too.

HockeyFighter 10-25-2003, 10:30 PM I hate my mom's side of the family the most also. I avoided them all 4 months I was home for summer.
Crystalline Dream 10-25-2003, 10:38 PM I just find everything most of these people stand for to be so far from what they really are. They try to give me religion, while I watch them purposely snub and **** people over. This whole day has me wanting to kick teeth in.
HockeyFighter 10-25-2003, 10:42 PM My mom's side is very religious. Always seems religious folk are the most corrupt.
handjobs4dollars 10-25-2003, 11:01 PM I don't really like my family. My dad pisses me off so much. Every single day he ask the same questions. What did you do at school? Shut the **** and think of something else to say. Plus he doesn't like anything that I like. And he is always making up story's. He calms he played Rugby and Football in Highschool. I've seen the year book he didn't. I ask what postion he played and he makes up the term "half-back" What the **** is a half back?
The Jake 10-25-2003, 11:02 PM I dunno if I'd go that far.
My dad's side of the family is pretty religious, one of my aunts in particular and they're some of the nicest people you could ever meet.

I definitely wish that these people would show me proof that thye actually believe what they say, maybe I would show them mercy in my thoughts and just shoot them instead. :noangel:
HockeyFighter 10-25-2003, 11:08 PM Oh sure they are nice on the surface. My grandpa is like the nicest person on the planet but I have heard alot about him screwing people in business.
The Jake 10-25-2003, 11:14 PM I think you have to examine each on it's own merit. My dad's side of the family, barring a couple of black sheep, is pretty schweet.
My mums, OTOH, well apart from a select few, a significant branch of that side of the family tree needs to be pruned.

HockeyFighter 10-26-2003, 12:03 AM You know I just remembered that my sister said she was gonna call me tonight. I called her at about 4 and she was at work and was half pissed already. Yeah, apparently they were drinking at work.....wouldn't want to get my hair cut there at that time. She said she would call be after work.......never happened. Not that I need to talk to her anymore. I have released what I needed to release but still......that *****.
The Jake 10-26-2003, 12:15 AM Slap her Hockey.
That'll learn her!
- J.
HockeyFighter 10-26-2003, 12:28 AM I will next time I see her.
Oh Jarrod, you told me once that I should **** my girlfriend in the ass because she was my best friend's sister......mission accomplished. I don't remember why you told me that I should do that but still, it's done.
The Jake 10-26-2003, 12:31 AM Good.
Did you give her a dirty sanchez?
- J.
HockeyFighter 10-26-2003, 12:33 AM Sorry, no. She never really liked the anal. We tried it a few times. I never really got into it either. But I guess in some future arguement with my friend I can say "Well I ****ed your sister in the ass! HAHAHAHAHA!!"

You see, that's the whole point.
It's the spite factor.
You've owned that ass, literally. And there is no comeback to that (unless she ****ed your dad or something - that's kinda rough).
- J.
HockeyFighter 10-26-2003, 12:44 AM But can I ever really use it? I would be kinda harsh on him to hear that about his sister. I know he knows I ****ed her because there were times when we thought he wasn't home and she was very loud and the whole time he was in his room across the hall.

Yes but he doesn't know what exactly.
Giving graphic details is just wrong.
God knows I'd freak out if my sister's bf's started telling me what they'd done to her.... *shudder*
- J.
HockeyFighter 10-26-2003, 01:10 AM So telling him that she sucks good **** is also acceptable?
The Jake 10-26-2003, 01:12 AM Most certainly.
The more dirt the better.
If you tell him **** like she does ass to mouth without blinking, that's definately winner material right there.
- J.
HockeyFighter 10-26-2003, 01:19 AM Damn, that almost makes me gag. How can I tell him that she swallows? Is there any lines I should know about in that regard. Oh and she likes being called a whore during sex too.
DragonZero 10-26-2003, 01:23 AM go pour sugar in his gas tank
The Jake 10-26-2003, 01:26 AM No, just knowing you branded his sister and just how filthy she is, really, is sufficient enough.
- J.
HockeyFighter 10-26-2003, 01:39 AM What are appropriate times to bring this up. Obviously this is not everyday talk and would require him to piss me off severly before I revieled said information
The Jake 10-26-2003, 01:43 AM This is like money in the bank Hockey. You save it for a rainy day.
Wait until he says or does something that REALLY *pisses* *you* *off*. Especially if his sister is in the room. When he sees her reaction as well, there will be no comeback from either of them.
Also, it helps if there are a lot of people around as well to certify that the owning has taken place . Their validation will most likely take the form of laughter at this dude, or a nodding of heads that they would have tapped that ass too, if given the opportunity.
- J.
HockeyFighter 10-26-2003, 01:49 AM Oh man. I would probably do it to see her reaction more than his. That would be priceless. Just for her to know that her brother knows what happened. That would be great.
The Jake 10-26-2003, 01:27 AM Just remember that revenge is a dish that is best served cold.

VulgarTheClown 10-26-2003, 03:26 PM i get along with some of my family
nance 10-26-2003, 03:48 PM I get along for the most part with my dad....I need to, he lives here...lol. I don't talk to my mother or brother anymore.....too much bitterness on their part towards my dad. Get along fairly well with my inlaws, we've all grown together.....and of course I get along with my kids and hubby:cool:
Relationships are work. They don't all come easy and sometimes you have bad days........
astroboy 10-26-2003, 08:09 PM yah but at least id treat her well:)
I love my family. My sister, my mom, even though she can drive me crazy and sometimes makes me question my reason for returning to the states, but today...for example my mother came over in the morning, I was cooking my ass off for the whole week so that I can gain sometime and she looked at me and hugged me, I gave her one of those pats on the back kind of hugs, and she just said..."don't pat me" as she kept on hugging me...she held on tight and I could not help but to start bawling my eyes out, I wept crying like a little girl, I let it all go...it felt to good to know that my mom could see beyond all my hard shell and that she was able to see that I was not ok...it felt so good to lay there in her little arms and just cry and let go...I felt little and taken care of for at least a little while and damn did that make a difference in my day...
Leather 10-27-2003, 02:01 AM Well, I live with my family: my parents and a bohemian sister, and yes, I love them...that's all...
Bluecifer 10-27-2003, 12:14 PM I get along great with my mom and dad. Could give a **** less about my extended family though. I'm trying to get my parents to leave Cali and move up here. I think they'd love it.
ruffneck119 10-27-2003, 04:45 PM My parents are the **** to say the least; I love my family. Most important thing in my world.

But you have any idea how many mates of mine have said that? :)
The difference in your case is I know you're not BSing :)
A couple of my best friends at the time have dated my sister. I'd rather not go there really. Trust me, it just feels wierd.

seldomTap 10-27-2003, 05:42 PM I haven't seen my Mums side since I was 8 (long story). Dads side is very close, but it kinda makes me feel sick, so I tend to be busy when family shows come up, and see them individually. I get along great with my dad now, never use to. Mum is ok, but kind of strange.
My girlfriends family make me grind my teeth into dust and drink heavily
LukeDothSucketh 10-27-2003, 06:08 PM I have no problems with my family, they're pretty cool.
