Holyfield says he's not done!
"I still want to leave boxing as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world," said former heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Evander Holyfield in an open letter posted on his website. "I believe that a setback is nothing but an opportunity for a comeback. After this setback, I know the only way to reach my goal is one step at a time. After I make the necessary adjustments, I will take the first step back with a much better performance," wrote the 41-year-old ring legend. "This is my life, and I will not allow anyone else to make this decision for me. I have listened to the people who care about me, and I will continue to listen, but only I will decide when I retire from boxing, and no amount of pressure can force me to change my mind...I want to continue my boxing career. Everyone else may agree or disagree, but that is my decision." Evander is 2-4-2 in his last eight bouts.
