Yes she has a lack of standup fighting skills. Boxing by its very nature is a limited sport with regards to combative sports as it only uses hands. Being able to use your hands to strike in an MMA fight isn't gonna get you far since there is far more to worry about than just punches. Gina is a Muay Thai champion which is a far more complete striking system utilising punchs, kicks, elbows and knees. Gina would take advantage of the side on stance that boxers take and kick out her lead leg which I guarantee Laila wouldn't know how to check, kick her in the head and her body at will and inevitably take her down, pound on her and stop her. Laila knows how to punch, thats it, Gina utilises a more complete system of striking, grappling and submissions. She has a far more varied skill set than Laila which would be her (Laila's)downfall. Being a couple of inches taller doesn't mean **** in MMA unless you know how to make it count which Laila wouldn't know how to, because once it goes to the ground your reach and size is irrelevant.
