why I don't like Elite XC is that (and this has came up before)

they're run too much like a Wrestling Federation, IMO

take the following example ..

"Setting up an in-cage riot between the Diaz and Noons family"

the commentary going "No dammit, Diaz ruining the post fight celebration/father son moment"

I could totally see the same thing happen on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

plus and this idea was canceled at the last minute but it's beside the point.

the Elite XC heads wanted to stage a war of words between Ken and Frank Shamrock.

I mean that right there is only a "burn in hell Undertaker" and a "he set the casket on fire!!"

from replicating the Kane/Undertaker brother rivalry.

granted they have Bill Goldberg as a color commentator, but if Elite XC switched from a cage to a ring .. at a distance I would mistake it for Pro Wrestling.

Wow - and I've had fun with the fed being on TV and being a UFC alternative...but I agree most of that stuff is shameful

it's too bad though as Elite XC does have some quality fighters, and most shows I've seen were pretty exciting

hopefully once the Kimbo thing gets blown out, Elite XC can try to refocus there image on the match ups and overall competitiveness

rather then the post fight "hype" like the Diaz's causing a post fight riot, or crap like that.

the list of crap they have pulled is hillarious and shameful as well. if even 25% of that list is true, which i believe most of it is true.....it just shows why they are and ultimatley will fail.

the commercial, which i have never seen before until now, really shocked me in how terrible their idea of advertising is. but i have to admit it was funny

agreed that event on paper should be pretty exciting

that's what i mean, Elite XC doesn't have the mainstream draw that the UFC does

so IMO they should cut the BS and try to put on the best fights possible.

and judging from that above card, those 2 title fights look to be pretty solid.
