lol thats a lie.. when was his last good album?? american gangsta was average and sounds like most of the **** he's done.. no replay value.. kingdom come was garbage.. the black album was actually pretty decent, probably his best album the last 7 years.. blueprint 2 wasnt that good and i honestly think bp3 is going to suck.. he needs to stay retired.. as pres he was supposed to put other artists out and help with the hiphop movement and he failed to do so.. instead of putting out other artists and promoting them he was busy putting out all of his material.. he forgot about ghostface, nas, jeezy, etc.. the only guys that he looked out for were kanye and rihanna.. music wise he needs to just stop..
be on the look for that new nas or lupe
black.ink 10-08-2008, 05:27 AM I don't care for 50 cent, and Jay Z's latest efforts have been nothing short on okay. It's going to be the same repeated formula for Jay, absolutely no creativity.
Kanye on the other hand seems to dabble with anything at the moment. 'Love lockdown' has got me interested to hear what he has on offer (no matter how many of you hate it), so of the three choices, it's Kanye for me.
Addition 10-08-2008, 07:18 AM Kanye. Not a fan of Jay's last two albums tbh.
Floyd Sinclair 10-08-2008, 07:36 AM Im expectin good things from 50 and jay, but im not even gonna waste space on my hard drive with that new kangay :lol1:
Tuggers1986 10-08-2008, 09:49 AM I'm waiting for LUPend
GreatestIam 10-08-2008, 11:25 AM Ma %0 **** goin be certified gangta bangers wit some gangta love ballots... word is Kanye on his Andre 3000 and well he aint Dre.. And Jay **** always nice but i aint bought his album since the black album... Jay will sale the most but 50s will be the most celebrated in my car
Mike06j770 10-08-2008, 11:41 AM all 3 will be watered down disappointments
Truth 10-08-2008, 01:32 PM Not sure to be honest. I'd have to hear 50 and Hov's official singles first.
Two Clips 10-08-2008, 02:04 PM Jay's going to kill them on the Blueprint 3 IMO....I think the boy still got it.
Floyd Sinclair 10-08-2008, 03:42 PM Kanyes droppin a pop album, i dont see how hes part of the big 3.
Q-Tip, Jadakiss, Cormega, and Dr. Dre....Its safe to say at least 2 out of these 4 will drop. It sounds like Jada and Cormega are the 2 most likely....I expect to like their albums better. And Im lookin forward to that new Eminem cd
I Cant agree with all the jay-z hate. American gangster had some creativity to it, i was impressed with his lyrics and story telling. Kingdom Come was a disappointment but even that had its moments.

yeah i think you even rated American gangster a near classic. I think it was a 4-4.5/5 album. I think people just have their minds made up with jay-z. lol
Floyd Sinclair 10-08-2008, 04:00 PM jay-z gets alotta hate because hes one of the best and most popular rappers, the better a rapper is the more haters they have. Sometimes haters are right but most of the time they're upset because whoever it is that they hate dissed their favorite rapper. To me thats not a good reason to not listen to someones music. Alotta people who say they wont even give jay-z's new cd a chance are probably lying, just like i am about kanye. I do kind of hate him now, and i expect it to be mostly garbage but i know there will be a couple songs that i like alot.
KILLA RIGHT 10-08-2008, 04:03 PM all wack give me ob4cl 2 if it ever comes out
Truth 10-08-2008, 04:05 PM ^^i believe people listened to american gangster, but i think going into it they had **hes all done/hes old, kingdom come sucked, this is the same **** he always talks about** in their heads before listening to it.
your not even a big jay-z fan(i don't think hes even in your top 15 favorites), so for you to say it was a good piece of work says it all. plus you have an extensive rap background, so you know quality.
Sttuddahboy619 10-08-2008, 04:14 PM I think it's a toss-up between Jay-Z and Kanye!
heat27 10-08-2008, 06:04 PM im guessin Jay-Z- The Blueprint III
kanye single is f*ckin trash and 50 is trash lol
fasman 10-08-2008, 07:18 PM 50 cents jus gonna make an album with him singing and talking about how rich he is!!!
Kanye could surprise us with some imaginative stuff but not expecting big things from him..
As for Jay, he's last few albums have been big disappointments for me and i don't think his new album is going to be on the same level as Nas' last album...
If anything waiting for the New Lupe, Eminem, Jada and if Dre drops then thats going to be insane!!!
Killa Cam 10-09-2008, 07:39 PM Theater of The Mind should be better then all 3.
