Three leading psychologists have provoked an outcry by claiming that the dance drug ecstasy may not be dangerous and that some of its ill-effects may be imaginary.

Been good, busy as hell though. I have a question for you, MCM. I am having this dress altered by a local seamtress chicky, and she's charging me twenty dollars an hour, and it's not anything hard either! Is that over priced? How much do you charge?

Yes, IMO, I don't charge $20/hour. I base all my charges on $10/$15 depending on how difficult it is. If it's something I'm not very good at, then I say so up front and give a high estimate then charge lower if I don't do a good job. But I'm a perfectionist according to my daughters...... If you can, go to a local dress shop and see what they charge, a local seamstress should never charge more than a dress shop. We have a shop out here that charges OUTRAGEOUS rates. They send the work out to be done and must take a cut....that's hwy robbery.

Is yours a zipper job? hem? seams? It all depends on the job.

Well first of all, it's just like a summer dress, it's not like layer after layer of material, and I need it let out at the bust line about an inch and taken in the waist about two inches. She said it was going to take a minimum of two hours. I left the dress with her and she said that she wouldn't be able to get to it for a few days, but now I'm considering going and getting it picked up because her quote seemed ridiculous.

For that price you can go buy a new one or buy the material and have it made from scratch for just a bit more.....depending on the fabric. $40 for an alteration for a summer dress?!?!?! No f'n way! I don't charge that much! I'd charge half that.

I just had a combination plate from Wahoo's on their patio, topped with a Cerveza and a Marlboro blend #27. It's too hot in Downtown LA, that's for sure.

It's gonna be 80 degrees today, which is ****in' hot for this time of year round these here parts. I can't wait for ice, snow, rain and cold. I love cold weather. I find it invigorating.

Honest to God, there is nothing like a cold snowy night with a full moon. It's so awesome. When I was driving to work today, I saw the trees all yelllow, reds and brown and I just couldn't help but be reminded how beautiful nature was. It's so awesome

I was thinking that this morning crystal. I live on the Park Blocks by PSU and the different colored leaves were all swirling around me and i thought how lucky I was as I walked to work. I only work a few blocks away in the heart of the city and am still surrounded by lush trees and greenery. I find it very beautiful.

There is so much more you can do in winter. It would be rather messy to go rocketing down a steep hill on a piece of waxed plastic

Everybody dies eventually so you might aswell enjoy your life while you can...can't escape the inevitable by living in fear and paranoia.

That is a bull**** report.

It's been substantiated by *MANY* MDs that MDMA leads to a degredation of the nerves in the brain and it does NOT grow back. I am no doctor but I've done more than my fair share of reading on MDMA and the article has completely ****ed up several well known and documented medical facts.

I'm pretty sure the shrinks were testing this on themselves and needed to find a way to justify their addiction. It's the only explanation for this poorly researched and poorly do

PS: Check the time and date on the article next time.

If someone wants to use, that's the person's choice. But to say that there are no consequences for that choice is every drug user's dream... and a copout for their denial.
