The Mouse 10-21-2003, 12:13 PM What do you guys use for a style resource? I like to hit up the Vogue websites and also the GQ magazines. I don’t dress like that a majority of the time, but when I do it’s reassuring to know what’s in style and what’s not. Ladies seem to appreciate it.

No that would be better homes, Bride magazine, and Martha Stewart. I know because ......uh......my.....friend has a relaible source.
nance 10-21-2003, 01:59 PM LOL @ all the responses... silly boys.
Mouse, Blue's suggestions are good ideas. I get alot of my ideas from magazines also (I'm a seamstress, working on designing). I would go to the store and take a female friend whom you trust to go with. Try on different styles and find what looks good on you. You can find a really nice outfit in the mags, but it doesn't mean that it will look good on YOU! Your body type, hair style, facial shape, colors, etc. all play a part. It boils down to individuality as well. What do you like? It also matters to what you you like and how you hold yourself up. Style isn't just about clothes on the outside.
Crystalline Dream 10-21-2003, 02:01 PM I say go naked... then you'll never be out of style. :noangel:

I am married. Style was redundant before I got married. It's even more redundant now.
Before that, it's tracksuit gear for me. If I'm going out, nice set of jeans, a good shirt and a nice leather jacket. Leather's been in for centuries. It ain't going away anytime soon.
Besides, if my wife wants me to wear something that she likes, finds stylish or sexy, she'll buy it for me.
E.g. As part of my one year anniversary gift I got from her was Eternity for Men and a big ass bowie knife :) (I think she wants me to wear them both at the same time). :)
