View Full Version : What's the hardest you've ever been hit? Cutthroat 10-04-2008, 09:31 PM ^^^^^^^^^^ Title. peewee1460 10-04-2008, 10:44 PM i got carried away sparring a pro heavyweight and he put me in my place. had a headache that hurt like hell for two days after. The Victim 10-04-2008, 11:50 PM i got a bloody nose once....and another time i got a head full of ringing bells Salty 10-05-2008, 12:02 AM Nothing stands out, but I still remember the first time I got hit cleanly in the liver, my right elbow now doesn't stray far from the ribcage anymore. I have been cheap shotted a few times in bars, they seem to hurt a bit more when you don't have the chance to see them coming. sukhenkoy 10-05-2008, 12:05 AM Took a clean one right on my nose once. Hurt like hell for 2 minutes, and then hurt to touch my nose for 2 days after that. peewee1460 10-05-2008, 12:15 AM but I still remember the first time I got hit cleanly in the liver, my right elbow now doesn't stray far from the ribcage anymore the first time that liver punch connects is a life altering moment. i remember the first left my liver tasted like it was yesterday.... AndyTravis 10-05-2008, 12:19 AM I haven't been knocked out or seen blood yet, but I've had to have my neck and jaw put back into place a few times. Alexis Vastine 10-05-2008, 02:28 AM I don't get hit. itwasluck 10-05-2008, 02:49 AM Just Tuesday me and some black guy were boxing. He has about 8-12 inches reach on me, 8 inches height on me and around 30-40 pounds too. It was going back and forth for alittle bit in the beginning then he catches me with a vicious left hook that lands right square on my nose. I get put on my ass and my eyes instantly start watering. My nose still hurts from that and I heard a 'pop/clicking' noise everytime I touched my nose. Not to mention I had a massive headache after that. Equilibrium 10-05-2008, 04:27 AM Well it wasnt in boxing. Hardest i ever got hit was a aluminum baseball bat to the side of my head. I didn't go down, wasnt even dizzy, but the pain was horrible, it felt like somebody had opened my skull and poked my brain as hard as they could. Close but not quite was when some dude broke his full 40oz beer bottle on my head. Wasnt quite as powerful as the baseball bad but it still hurt. I remember stopping completly for a split second and asking myself "Am i dizzy?......Hmm, no." As far as boxing goes, it was one of my first time sparring, i was about 16 and i was sparring this much more experienced guy, it went pretty well but after 3 rounds i was really out of breath, i was breathing with my mouth open and that guy caught me with a huge left hook right on the tip of the chin, my jaw made a little crunch and i was stuck with my mouth open for a couple of seconds. I was fine after that, but to this day my jaw still makes that cracking noise sometimes when i eat. Asked my dentist a few times, he took radiography and said it was fine, as long as it doesn't hurt there is no problem. Talon 10-05-2008, 04:31 AM they put me in against a bigger guy that i didnt know at all.. he came out hitting pretty hard. i dont even know what the **** i was hit with.. usually i can tell if its an uppercut or a straight right or something.. but i have no clue. once he hit me so hard my back leg swung around behind me and i farted.. i take that back.. once i was sparring this rangy black guy about 3 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier.. at first we were going light and i was doing ok.. then he decided it would be funny to hit me with a really hard right uppercut.. it hit me on the tip of my chin and it was like doing nitrous oxide.. my vision was flashing black and white and its like i heard a gong in my head that was echoing. then i woke up, standing in the ring.. we continued. im glad he stopped because i would have definately been on my back. i remember getting the wind knocked out of me when a kid feinted a jab and uppercutted my liver. its true your right elbow will never leave your ribs again once youve tasted a bodyshot. also ive been jabbed by a big heavyweight and my neck crunched Richie-G 10-05-2008, 10:33 AM mine was when i was sparring this new kid in sparring he wasnt very good so i was slacking a bit and he just cracked me with a straight right on my cheek my i got this weird shock all through my body and i got the weird ringing in my head but i managed to spar another three rounds. i didnt feel right for the whole day after that though lol one that i hate is when you get hit in the jaw and it feels like your ear is bleeding. lol ****ing painful Kayo 10-05-2008, 03:05 PM a left hook to the body from my trainer, i almost shat myself Oriachim 10-05-2008, 03:32 PM Wasn't in boxing but, got in a fight with some real big guy, a girl tryed to hold me back, but the guy just right handed me straight on the nose. Nose was broke, bleeding heavily and I was dazed like hell in my left eye, almost knocked out for the first time in my life. The Surgeon 10-05-2008, 03:58 PM By a punch, was when i used to play Rugby, our league was ****in nuts fights every week. This little guy i was way bigger than from another towns team Cracked me square on and i saw a white flash - i felt it! Ive been hit by punches that hurt but never Hurt by a punch if u know what i mean! In Boxing, got stabbed in the body with a left hook rfrom the Pro Brittish Light Middle weight Champion, took the wind right outta me! FlaminGuru 10-05-2008, 04:26 PM A right hand straight to the nose, by a 200 pound monster Samuel F. 10-05-2008, 04:31 PM Sparring a couple years ago. I kept dropping my right hand(southpaw) and my coach kept telling me to keep it up. I didn't so he gave me a double left hook to the jaw. It's probably not the hardest ever but I was 14 at the time and it was probably the cleanest hook I had taken. Barndog 10-05-2008, 04:31 PM I box in a town near sheffield. Sheffield is where Herol Bomber Graham and Prince Nasseem come from. Alot of the fighters around there fight in that crazy style. I caught a crazy uppercut from no-where and i saw stars. Didn't go in, but i jumped miles. Never been down, but it could have been there. God, it makes me smile now. It was like i'd been dunked under water. I bet it looked great. James78 10-05-2008, 05:02 PM I got sucker punched in a nightclub once, broke my nose blacked both eyes and I got jumped by the bouncers for trying to retaliate, see you in hospital mother****ers!!!!! Derranged 10-05-2008, 07:02 PM After getting hit with a combination, my right leg went completely dead for like 2 seconds. And I was dizzy. TheBlackSwifty 10-05-2008, 07:08 PM I dont seem to remember the hardest hits so much but the decent punches that landed cleanly in a sweet spot like the tip of the chin or below the temple, enough to wobble the legs, put you in that weird numb state for a few seconds. Punches dont have to be super hard if they land correctly to do damage. Alexis Vastine 10-06-2008, 01:21 AM The whole point of boxing is to hit without getting hit. i never been seriously hurt or hit with a clean shot because I've been taught proper defence with a high guard as well as slipping and rolling. If you take big licks that make you dizzy you have a **** coach that will get you hurt. getting out of breath like a bum and caught with big hooks on the chin doesn't make you a fighter, just a ***** getting beats! BTW, Gatti sucks and if you have something to say just say it out in open and not via karma like a bum. This is a fighting sport, not f'ing soccer. Gatti has more heart than your whole country will ever have. By the way, stop trying to act like you are Alexis Vastine, we know you aren't him and you aren't ****. CRESCENDOPOWER 10-06-2008, 03:40 AM In my U.S. Military riot training an instructor decided to pick me to be the guinea pig. I guess the idiot didn’t know that go on 3 means go on 3, and not 2. He knocked me right on top of the head with the stupid baton. No buckling of the knees, but a lot of blood. Chris46 10-06-2008, 10:36 AM As far as boxing goes, it was one of my first time sparring, i was about 16 and i was sparring this much more experienced guy, it went pretty well but after 3 rounds i was really out of breath, i was breathing with my mouth open and that guy caught me with a huge left hook right on the tip of the chin, my jaw made a little crunch and i was stuck with my mouth open for a couple of seconds. Asked my dentist a few times, he took radiography and said it was fine, as long as it doesn't hurt there is no problem. This is a bit different but ever since the first time i took xtc whenever i eat my jaw makes that clickin noise :chomp: As for boxing, i've never really been cleanly hit before they were always shots that have come off my guard. Not trying to boast like i didn't box for that long, not long enough for me to get knocked out anyway lol. Hardest ive ever been hit was when i was playing badminton one time and me and the guy i was playing never got along. He hit a shot that was clearly in but i managed to convince everyone that it was out and they started calling him a cheater and telling him to go home and he got really pissed off, walked around the net and cracked me. One punch and he bust my nose and my lip lol. Didn't go down but was a shock like!!! Definitly hardest ive ever been hit! Mrpedigree 10-06-2008, 11:55 AM When i was a school boy boxing I got cacked in the mouth sparring with no gum sheild in and got my front tooth knocked out! Fcuking hurt like hell ! In fact i bled like a pig :dead1: But dont worry i know have these fitted :boxing:http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh116/biggypp0/006.jpg Bendigo 10-06-2008, 01:44 PM As far as boxing is concerned, I've broken my nose once, but the hardest I ever got hit was a straight right in the solar plexus. I was done. Outside of boxing, I've been hit in the back of the head with a padlock before. Domey 10-08-2008, 02:02 AM In the finals of a tournament I was in, I was hit so hard at the final bell that I got amnesia and do not remember the fight. All I remember was throwing a jab and his nose starting to bleed, then another jab and blood was all over his face. I was standing in the locker room and I started to come to. It was like as if you were watching a movie and it faded from black to the actual picture. I was standing there with my coach and family, holding my trophy and jacket as they were talking to me. Out of no where I guess after I had been talking and celebrating, I kept asking "did I win?" I watched the tape numerous times and still nothing comes back to me. Right as the final bell rung, with about 2 seconds left I danced against the ropes and leaned all the way back, when the ropes pushed me forward I was hit with a flush over hand right that landed clean. I took the punch just fine. Walked to his corner and shook his and his trainers hands, then walked to mine to get my headgear and gloves off. Then went to the middle of the ring awaiting the announcement, I won. So even though I don't remember it, im sure it is probally the hardest I have ever been hit. Alexis Vastine 10-08-2008, 02:50 AM You probably never had a fight, you are bound to get cracked someday. This is a fighting sport, not f'ing football where even the fans fight and players too in the amateur game. Gatti has more heart than your whole country will ever have and it gets him hurt like a bum. By the way, stop trying to act like you are Alexis Vastine, we know you aren't him and you aren't ****. Gatti is a bum, and will only be admired by bums who like eating leather and tasting canvas. Saying someone probably never had a fight when you don't know them is just gay. I don't block punches with my head because it is not good defence and have no L's as a senior. i'll be turning pro soon and if I saw you at a Sunday league match, I would probably smash your gay gay canuck head in with my bare fists. Go suck a dick and bore off. Equilibrium 10-08-2008, 03:05 AM Gatti is a bum, and will only be admired by bums who like eating leather and tasting canvas. The fact is at many times you have tried to make people beleive you were Alexis Vastine, your sig, and you even sent me bad karma saying that you fought at the olympics. You are nobody, just a ****ty fan boy trying to act like he knows something about boxing. You sound condescending to somebody in every single one of your posts. Don't wonder why nobody likes you on these boards, everything you say is complete bull****. I don't think Gatti was the best fighter ever or anything, nor do i try to fight like him. I like him because he was entertaining to watch. Thinking that insulting the guy in my avatar will piss me off just shows how much of a moron you are. Alexis Vastine 10-08-2008, 03:11 AM Yeah of course, another keyboard warrior. It's easy to talk all the way across the atlantic ocean from the comfort of your **** hole. . That's exactly what I was thinking of you. Probably true since you started the tough talk like all keyboard warriors with big north american bellies do. Trust me son, in real life I would knock ten bells of **** out of ya. If you want an address to visit me, i'll give it to you. Just PM me. Now go eat some more saturated fat in a hot dog and bore off fat boy. Equilibrium 10-08-2008, 03:19 AM That's exactly what I was thinking of you. Funny how you ignore the parts of the post that hurts you the most. I could easily fall into racism to get back at you but i won't lower myself to your level. Keep pretending you're somebody you are not and i'll keep laughing every time i see one of your posts. Good try with the adress part, but we both know i'm not going to your stinky country to beat up an internet tough guy. KostyaTszyu44 10-08-2008, 04:13 AM got clocked with a straight right to the head that knocked me three feet back and slammed me against the turnbuckle....i felt a bit of a ringing and i think i saw a white flash for a second but i was fine after a second and sparred like 6 more rounds, it was like 10 secs into the first so i was sorta caught cold got clocked with a looping right that cracked my neck pretty good a few weeks back...but yeah my chins pretty solid, both those guys were bigger than me and ive never even been remotely stunned by a guy my size and never been dropped or badly staggered in the ring, but i guess those two stand out cos they were nice shots keepthemhandsup 10-08-2008, 09:18 AM well yesterday when was sparring i was boxing some dude who was't in the gym for a while...so i kinda went easy on him at frist....but then i see he was kinda good....but i managed to work him up with the jab......then i did something stupid....when he threw a left jab..i weave my head back which i only do for a right....what do you know....i got hit with a ****ing right cross and my head snapped back....i was dazed cause it was a hard hit....but i was ok... the hardest i been hit in boxig is when i sparred and got hit in the neck....hard...couldn' breathe for a sec... You honestly think people who have usernames like KostyaTszyu44 and ironmike2008 think they are the fighters. I'm not dumb enough to think you're pretending to be Gatti, but you are dumb enough to think he is a good boxer! I bet you use your 'heart' too just like him, and not your head which is used like a punchbag to absorb punches. What a gay style to admire, and defo for newbies and casual fans. As for the internet tough guy thing, i'm the one who pointed out to you its fruitless saying who can do what on a poxy forum. Unlike yourself and other keyboard warriors, I will actually meet in person. You're the bum boy who first sent me silly gay messages about how hard you are and how nobody else in the world has had a fight but you, lol. itwasluck 10-08-2008, 12:38 PM You honestly think people who have usernames like KostyaTszyu44 and ironmike2008 think they are the fighters. He is good, but everyone automatically thinks he's bad because Mayweather made a fool of him. People are so use to watching Mayweather, Jones Jr, Tyson, Ali and think that anyone who isn't as good as them (the best) is automatically a bad boxer. SOY-COMO-SOY 10-08-2008, 04:12 PM I got hit w/ a left hook and my mouthpiece went flying on the judges table. It was kinda funny Alexis Vastine 10-09-2008, 06:13 AM Gatti could beat 95% of his weight class. He is good, but everyone automatically thinks he's bad because Mayweather made a fool of him. People are so use to watching Mayweather, Jones Jr, Tyson, Ali and think that anyone who isn't as good as them (the best) is automatically a bad boxer. I doubt very much he could beat 95% of the contenders in his weight class. Your definition of his weight class is too broad as alot of pro's are journeymen and part timers, and if you take them out I don't see him getting far. the bottom line is he is not the kind of fighter a boxing purist or experienced fighter would be a fan of as blocking punches with your head and looking that ugly are not a part of the sweet science. there's even domestic level fighters with well schooled styles compared to his. My point was not about his class but that only a casual fan or a newbie would be into that 'entertaining' brawling bull**** style of fighting. Not a genuine boxing purist or die hard fan who knows how to appreciate the likes of a B-Hop or the skill of a Juan Manuel Marquez. You don't seem to understand that boxing is a spectator sport, and what do spectators like to see? People bashing each other, knock outs. Olympic style boxing is boring as hell to watch 80% of the time. Boxing is more than just technique, any fighter that only has technique and no heart nor balls will quit as soon as something doesnt go the way he expected. By the way, don't you dare putting b-hop and JMM in the same category. JMM is a true fighter with skills, and heart. B-hop is just a shell of what he once was and there is nothing entertaining nor impressive about the way he fights now. In the message you sent me you said you went to the olympics and you were about to turn pro, now we know it's bull****. But if you were ever to go pro with the attitude you have now you will get broken, physically and mentally. Because you WILL eat punches, like it or not. Alexis Vastine 10-09-2008, 09:03 AM No I won't. because I don't look up to bums like Gatti or copy their style!!! You don't even know me son. I been sparring with pro's for years so I know for a fact that you are talking gob****e and you're just a noob. I couldn't care less anyway. this forum is about training and not what you think of other posters which is your way of expressing your own insecurities. Bore off!!
