Has anyone bought these yet?

What are they like?

What about the special features?

I also wouldn't mind getting the Sopranos on DVD as well as the Indiana Jones boxed set.

i got the scarface and don't see any major improvement in the picture quality with all that "remastered" ****. but the making behind the movie stuff is pretty interesting.

all in all i'd say it's worth a grab because
1) it's scarface
2) a silver coated dvd looks cool in yer collection

Those aren't particularly compelling reasons to purchase it Purity.... but I'll get it anyway :)

Ouch... scathing reviews for Scarface! This guy agrees with you Tony! Amazon & that last link gave decent reviews though.

Every time I turn on my tv, Scarface is on. What's up with that? Is an anniversary or something?

Similar story with the Indy films. 20 years since the first film IIRC. The DVD got awesome reviews too.

Ahhh...makes sense then. TY!
I want to get the Indy films. I always loved those! We tried convincing the band director to use the music from those for this year's show, but he chose something else.....oh well. It's good, we just could have been really creative with the Indy music.

John Williams has composed some of the most well known themes for music and his pieces are often training pieces for many orchestras. There's few pieces as inspiring as the Indy theme IMHO :)

Cool! I may have to get some of that info from you. I will bring the music that the band is playing. I play it for Zelda and it calms her down....she loves it. I like it too, but eldest wanted something really fun since it's her senior year. I still have two more years.....yay.

I was just thinking specifically of the Indiana Jones, Superman and Star Wars themes off the top of my head.
