Jackson had to pull out of his scheduled match at WEC's Halloween Fury II October 17th due to illness. Jackson, who had broke his hand in his match with Nick Diaz in UFC 44 has also been battling with pneumonia since the event.

His breathing is alittle better this week, & his hand is lots better! He had been trying to still practice & get ready for WEC, but in order to start getting better, I guess he had to stop training, they told WEC last week how bad it was & a big possibility of him not being able to fight, Wednesday they knew for sure, he still couldn't breathe hardly without sounding like a wind tunnel was in his chest with the wheezing.
If he could have saved what he was coughing..... never mind too graphic.......
His sweet g/f is driving the entire 5 hour drive so he can have some good home cooking & eat his favorite meal of Carne asada burritos with rice & beans!
*I have him convinced it is a miraculous cure*

LOL, she lives near him, but far from where we are, or where he used to live!!
I had pneumonia last August(2002) and it's by far the sickest I've ever been in my life. Tell Jeremy we wish him a speedy recovery! It's probably for the best to get well and go into his next fight fully recovered so he can show what he's all about at 100%.

Your right Zen, I think even he agrees, he was so sick I thought he would wind up in the hospital, his chest was awful sounding, plus he couldn't breathe thru his nose, when I talked to him on the phone he asked me if he was dieing......... reminded me of the time when I caught him at 7 years old with a cigarette in his hand trying to smoke........ he asked the same thing then......... & I told him, yes I think he might, so he ran, but I couldn't catch him....................LOL

Sup guys! Thanks for all your support again. I wanted to come in here personally and let you guys know I am feeling a little better, and I just arrived down south in my home town where I was born to visit Momita. I cant wait until tomorrow, so I can eat a burrito. Hopefully it will cure me. My plans are to start back training on Monday and see how I feel, then its back on the road towards the UFC welterweight belt to finish my dream. Peace!
P.S Tanner I still love ya!

It's ok Curly, I hired the ice cream truck to go in front of him if he decides to run off the burritos...........& I tipped them to go just a "wee" bit faster than usual...
should take care of a few of those pounds...........
just hope Jeremy figures out the safety harness thing fast, being tied to the truck & all, I told him it was a new law & he had to wear one, hope the driver doesn't go over 70..................... sheesh
