I've just come back from a jam session of this style and it's really sensual and funny, a lot of people dancing (I know most of you hate it) and avery good band playing: the drunner was a jazz master, the same of the bassist, the guitar player was really good, not technic but he put a great feeling and shuffle in his instrument, the percussionist was brazilian, no more to say about him, and the vocalist...wow!! Portuguese sounds great with this style....

I am in awww of this type of music, it brightens my days and it actually makes me feel so much better...and then I start to cook. That is one of the things I miss so much about Venezuela, the ability to view live sessions of world music, variety, culture...I am homesick damn it
