I'm wondering how the aussies see Tsyzu, is he one of their own because he's lived there so long or is he still a russian living is oz or do people like him only because he was the undisputed best 140 lbs fighter for a few years. How do you aussie guys view him?

I think Aussies definately see him as being one of our own. A great 140 pound champ, perhaps top 5 all time in that division.

The Aussie public love KT. When ever he fought the pubs & Clubs would be packed. I've never heard a bad thing about the guy from any one. He's awesome, It was such a shame he got mugged by Hatton in this last fight.

You look at the fighters he not only beat but destoryed, he's career speaks for it's self.

He saw him in a Pet shop downtown a while back, he hadn't blown out too much and there was talk of a come back, but I don't think anyone was willing to pay him what he wanted.

I think the fact that he was such a nice guy and an incredible athlete, won the australian public over. I haven't seen much of him lately, but I don't watch too much TV anymore.

Watched Tzsyu v Mitchell back in 2004 at Charles Dickens Tavern in the CBD when Tzsyu handed his ass to him on a platter. The place was packed with all different types of people and not just hardcore boxing fans.

When he dropped Mitchell first time everybody started going nuts. Once he KOd Mitchell's arse just about everyone got up and started going even more nuts! This shows you how much everybody loves the guy including general sports fans who were there.

I must say the one thing I'm not too impressed about is Kostya charging people $50 for his autograph. Hope he's not charging kids parents that sort of money when they ask him???

Anyone remember the interview when Kostya says after one of his fights: "I'm not prostitute"???? lol Was it to do with money???
