didnt manny sign a multiple fight deal with HBO
i thought they had already talked bout how he had while he was fighten JMM
when he beat MAB they said he had a great shot at multi-fight contract and after the JMM
it was almost sure thing he would get one

Good news. I like Manny's fighting style. I'm glad that HBO is willing to show his fight.

I don't know what happened with the HBO deal. HBO alone didn't want to finance any of the money for this fight and couldn't get any dates for Manny to fight this year after Marquez bout. He's not listed on their site as an HBO fighter either, so I'm not sure how that contract went. As for this, there was no annoucement prior to this that the fight would be aired here(US). Cheers!

Weird! That fight is on my schedule that I just updated yesterday, but it doesnt say a thing about it being on HBO...matter of fact, it implies that it's not broadcasted at all. :confused: ( I, too, was wondering who the hell Fahsan 3K?? is)

I can't believe that HBO is gonna spend the money to go all the way out there and cover that stuff. The only promotional tool I need for the Pacman/JMM rematch is to have watched the 1st one.

I have read it, too and the newspaper says it will just show some highlights of the fight not cover the entire fight. Well, that's just my understanding of it. Fahsan is popular only in Thailand, his homeland. This fight is for the Filipino fans only and not for worldwide viewing, i think.

Not much interest from HBO with this tune-up fight of Pac, but its good news for us pac fans that this fight will be shown by HBO, I also think your right Chito, that HBO will only show highlights of the fight, but then again maybe this fight will be to short the every minute will be highlights.....

HBO was there the first fight for Wlad after KO'ing Sanders and all they broadcasted was twenty or so seconds of highlights as a filler bit on their real broadcast.

Actually the whole Battery thing is sponsors. The battery companies sponsor the fighters, so they label them as 3K Battery. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what I read about it. Cheers!

3 K battery , its one of the most important gym in Thailand, over there the fighters use the name of the gym where they have alwways trained like Fahsan (3K Battery)

That gym is promoted bye the battery brand 3K

Thats bold on HBOs part. I am certainly not going to complain about another opportunity to see Manny.
